Description

This course will cover the following three pillars.

  1. The foundation, theory, and physics behind the single jig technique and why it works.

  2. A yearning to understand your surroundings, and how the water, beach, and the environment affects fluke feeding behavior.

  3. A careful acquisition of gear driven by discovering new techniques applicable to new beaches and conditions.

The interplay of all three pillars above will be covered as well. How understanding the beach can help you choose and add to your arsenal of tackle. And how beach dynamics can help you adapt your technique to its surroundings. The course will contain never before seen footage of how fluke pursue and attack a single jig, and the visual features of beach morphology.

This course will not be covering the following.

  • Fishing the back bays, piers, and bulkheads. There is a lot more to cover fishing for fluke out front. And those principles can be adopted for back bay fishing.

  • There will be no mentioning of any specific fishing spots. The whole idea of this course is to empower the angler to explore and find their own beaches to fish.

  • I will not be showing you exactly how to fish the single jig. I will cover the evolution of my technique but the whole idea of this course is to help you develop your own signature set of techniques to match the conditions you are presented with.

Who this course is for:

  • For passionate anglers who want to deep dive into shore fluking with the single jig.
  • Anglers who are curious about the foundation, theory, and physics behind the single jig technique and why it works.
  • For those yearning to understand how the water, beach, and the environment affects fluke feeding behavior.
  • For those who value careful acquisition of gear driven by discovering new techniques applicable to new beaches and conditions.
