A Comprehensive Course in Paranormal Investigations

In this video you will learn about the types of emergencies that can occur during your investigation and how to handle them. We will talk about religious items and how they can help you on an investigation, what to bring with you and when. We will also touch on the importance of training under a professional. We will also talk about the rules to live by in the paranormal investigations field.

In this lesson, you will learn about psychic protection which is your biggest protection method to use against dark forces of the paranormal. It is very important to learn psychic protection and put it into place before engaging in any type of paranormal, psychic or magical work. In this lesson we will talk about some more tips to get the most out of your ghost investigations. You will learn what a spiritual beacon is and how it affects you, the ghosts and the investigation. In this video lesson, we will talk about a very important aspect of the paranormal investigation and that is your first contact with your client. Your first client contact will include your client interview where you will find out all of the important details of the case so you can get an idea of what it is that you and your team may be walking into.

You will learn what the main goal of your phone interview with your potential client. You will learn how to questions your client and the types of interview questions that are important. You will also learn what kind of questioning is not good and could actually cause you to lose your case.

You will learn what to do if you feel uncomfortable with a case, your responsibilities to your client as well as what things to inform your client about, safety issues, the right of legal authority and handling children and pets.

In this lesson we will continue discussing the different types of common ghosts you could come across, what they are like and what causes this to happen. We will also talk about ghosts that are attached to objects and how they may have ended up that way. We will also explore deceased pets and why they might stick around. Besides deceased pets, we will talk briefly about other types of entities that could show themselves as animals. You will learn a little bit about some animal spirits associated with dark hauntings.

In this lesson we will go over some of the technology used in ghost investigating. Digital cameras, camcorders and lighting are covered here with places to purchase this equipment. We will also discuss audio recorders as well as where to purchase them too.

In this bonus video for lesson 11, we will talk about the different types of outside light sources for your IR and FS cameras. You will see comparisons using these light sources. You will also see cameras that have their own light source and how that light source is improved using these outside light sources.

This lesson talks more about rare types of hauntings such as rare ghost types, spirits associated with parallel dimensions, other-worldly entities such as non-human types and even hauntings that are not actual hauntings, but caused from energy that replays itself over and over again.

In this lesson we will discover more paranormal equipment that is a little more tailored to the paranormal ghost hunting community. You will also learn where you can purchase this equipment. You will learn about ghost boxes and issued pertained to capturing EVP with them.

In this lesson you will learn about ghost photography and the techniques to capture ghosts. There are differences in 'normal' photography and ghost photography.

You will also learn about different types of camera anomalies that can sometimes be mistaken as ghost anomalies and how to tell the difference so you can debunk your evidence.

You will get lots of tips and pointers so you can get the best photographs for paranormal investigating.

In this video you will learn more about ghost photography and the lighting that ghost investigators use in order to capture the best ghost evidence. You will also learn how to comb through all of your captures to find evidence. You will learn how to use the software on your computer to do this job and how to properly label and save your photos.

In this bonus lesson you will see a demonstration of how far digital full spectrum cameras came from the older versions. The old cameras had a halo which could cause more camera anomalies. The pictures weren't as clear either. You will see the pictures with an older 'halo' model at night with a light on, low lighting and an outside light source, and this will be compared with a newer full spectrum camera that has no halo using the same lighting and rooms.

Congratulations! Here we are at your first lab. In this lab you will start to get some experience using your IR/FS digital cameras and sensors. You will put to use the information you have learned thus far and utilize your ghost photography techniques to go out in the field and try to capture some ghosts on your digital cameras. You will also get experience in filling out a lab worksheet and combing through your captures using one of the methods your learned about. This will be a fun learning experience and there's more to come!

In this lesson we will continue our journey into some more paranormal equipment exploring some pretty cool sensors, meters and trigger objects. You will also learn about EMFs and what EMF meters do.

Here are your directions for lessons 15 and 16 quiz.

In this lesson, we will be discussing some of the more rare types of ghosts and some of the entities that dwell on the dark side. We will talk about portals and gateways and how spirits come through these to get into our world. It is important to know about these types of entities so you can recognize one should you encounter it. This lesson is meant to empower you to make good decisions and keep yourself and your team safe.

We will do a little more exploring into some specialized equipment that was made with the paranormal investigator in mind. A lot of this equipment is pretty expensive, but we all want it. We will talk about using temperature gauges and what to look for. We will also discuss more about the thermal imaging camera.

In this lesson we will finish up our exploration into equipment. There is a lot out there and I know you will find and discover so many awesome paranormal tools. We will go into some of the basics of working with divining rods. We will also talk about how to properly care for your equipment and keep it in its best condition, battery and team equipment usage and handling issues that may arise when your team is sharing equipment or using their own.

In this lesson we will cover several types of spirits and energies that could cause issues for your clients and create a haunting. These are rare spirits that you may never come across, but should be aware of in order to keep you safe and so you will be able to recognize one should you encounter one.

In this lesson we will talk about apps you can use to supplement your investigations along with some useful software. We will also talk about the major places you can purchase your big ticket paranormal investigation equipment as well as many other pieces for your toolkit. We will talk about traveling with your equipment and how to store it safely.

In this lesson you will learn how to go through you videos to check for paranormal evidence. You will learn how to clip out that evidence and learn the program you need to accomplish that task. Then you will learn how to transform that clip into an mp4 for viewing everywhere. You will learn how to do basic editing of your video so you can make the best video clips to present for evidence of your paranormal investigations, to present to your clients and to use on your own website and social media.

This video will give you a little introduction to your lab where you will be using your IR and/or FS cameras to hunt for ghosts.

After you watch the video, read the three pages of resources which are your lab directions. Complete the lab as directed and do your assignments. 

The first assignment will be the lab worksheet to complete about your lab.

This video is all about debunking your possible evidence. You will be shown several different scenarios where the captures really look like authentic paranormal evidence only to find when you apply debunking techniques, they turned out to be false-positive.

This lesson talks about the mysterious theory of controlled hauntings which is gaining more evidence. We will also discuss the different stages of ghost manifestation and explore the topic of true orbs or dense energy spheres - which is almost a bad word in the paranormal community; however, there is more than meets the eye. There are various anomalies to look into as well.

This video gives 11 examples of paranormal evidence. It is your job to tell whether the evidence is real or fake and why.  Watch the video and pause it after each picture or short video clip of evidence to answer the questions in assignment Lessons 23 and 24 Video 1 Debunking Samples.

This video covers a lot of information. We will discuss making decisions about your investigation, packing up your equipment safely to travel, what to do upon arrival at your investigation, doing a quick interview follow up with your client when you arrive, what to discuss with your client, getting paperwork signed to keep you free from legal issues and the geoweather.

You will be introduced to a fun project where you will figure out what is haunting several locations and an interesting experiment on the ghost weather so you can see how certain weather elements can affect your investigations.

Your resources are for your lesson project.  Your lesson project will have assignments that correspond with them.

This lesson's experiment will be working with the ghost weather as explained in your video.  There are several resources for that as well.  Read the two pages of experiment directions to get the understanding of your experiment.  There is a geoweather chart you can use for this experiment and those in the future - which is downloadable.  There is also an experiment worksheet that you can download in the resources.   You will need several of these to complete the experiment as outlined in your experiment directions.

There are more accidents and injuries on paranormal investigations from ghost hunters that don't take the proper safety precautions then from getting hurt by a ghost or other type of entity.

We will learn about energy transference from ghost, entities and energies.

This lesson talks about these safety precautions from issues that can occur from the location itself to the different types of entities that you could run across.

It's not fun to be out there investigating if you end up falling through a floor or end up being the hunted by an evil entity.

In this video lesson addendum, you will learn how to analyze weather data that you collect every time you do any kind of investigation or experiment.

You will learn what data is more likely to give you better investigation conditions and when this data is best put to use.

You will also learn the point system in evaluating this data so you can get a much clearer picture of what the combined weather conditions tell you.

In this lesson we will talk about the one and only real rule in paranormal investigations referred to as the paranormal golden rule. We will discuss what it is and what it means.

We will also talk about some facts that seem to hold true in the paranormal world, but can definitely be affected by the golden rule.

You will also learn about how ghosts can affect your dreams, why they choose to do so and what that means for you. Ghosts live in a type of dream state so you will learn more about that as well.

In this lesson we will begin learning how to do an official investigation.

Doing an initial walk-through of the location and determining your home base will be covered.

A procedure to do your investigation the most effectively and in the time allotted will be covered as well.

Follow the directions that are in this lecture and mark the sketch that is attached as you read each part.  This will give you a good idea of what it is like to make a sketch as you go along your investigation.  The completed sketch is attached as well, but please do not look at it until you have completed yours.

In this lessons we will continue what we started in lesson 27 with some more ghost facts.

These are things that we can say with some amount of certainly that seem to apply to the majority of ghosts, but can be very helpful in determining what types of ghosts or other types of beings you may be working with.

In this lesson, we will go through the main part of the investigation procedure which you can tweak up to fit all of your investigations and change as needed throughout the investigation.

You will get tips on how to make the most of your time at the investigation.

We will also discuss your client for private investigations.

Here is a case study that takes you on a journey with a paranormal investigation team.  Directions and questions are in this lecture.  As you are working though this case study, when you reach a question, go to lesson 30 case study assignments, there are three parts and answer the questions.  Please do not read ahead before answering the questions.

In this very informative lesson, you will learn about the awesome and mysterious electronic voice phenomenon also more commonly known as EVP.

You will get lots of great EVP tips so that you can get the best EVPs possible.

EVPs are usually the best way to obtain paranormal evidence and get more information about the haunting you are investigating.

There will be a lesson project included.

Welcome to lesson 32 EVP project.

Learning to listen for EVPs is something that takes, time, practice and patience. It is also something that improves with ear and brain training. The more you do, the easier and better you become at it.

For this project, I will send you 10 audio clips. I want you to listen to them with your computer audio player and use headphones.

Some clips will contain an EVP and some will not. Your job is to:

1. Tell me if the clip is positive—contains an EVP or negative—does not contain an EVP.

2. If you can tell what the EVP is saying, then tell me what it is. If you can only make out a word or two, then send what you think it is.

3. Tell me if you think the EVP is a class A, B or C EVP.

You do not have to try to clean up the EVP or edit it in any way as yet. We will cover how to do this in the next lesson along with another EVP project and experiment.
