    Project management is the process of choosing and overseeing a project. Planning, estimating, tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the project's progress are all included. A project entails work that is distinct in its nature and has a beginning and an end. The project should have clear deliverables and measurable objectives.

    It can be intimidating to enter the realm of project management if you've never done it before. What do you do first? What are the steps you take? The five phases of project management, thankfully, provide a simple framework to follow. If you're unfamiliar with these stages, they are as follows:


    • Inception

    • Planning

    • Execution or implementation

    • Monitoring or controlling

    • Closure.

    This is the first phase of our journey. And like in real life, it's where an idea gets approved to become a project. This is where we create the project charter is made. It is a one-page document that describes the task at hand and what we need to do to accomplish it.

    Controlling or monitoring

    Getting results is the goal of project management, which includes sticking to plans, timetables, and budgets. Things can happen, clients might seek modifications, and new chances can present themselves.


    Closure

    The project has now completed its objectives. If the objectives were met, then you can move on to closure processes which help you to close out and wrap up the project.
