In 'A Brief Introduction to Aviation', we'll have a detailed look at how various aviation pilot topics, including: Airframes, Engines, and Systems; Theory of Flight; Flight Instruments; and Meteorology.

The course contains primarily videos to ease learning. The videos are easy to comprehend and to the point. Additionally, various animations and graphics are used throughout the course.

At the end of the course, you'll have a general understanding of entry-level aviation topics. This will provide you with a foundation for enrolling in pilot ground school and flight training.

My name is Mario Sabogal. I have a Degree in business. Additionally, I worked over 12 years as a civilian and military flight instruction doing initial flight training and aerobatics instruction and flown as an airline pilot. Furthermore, I am a programmer and visual designer. I program in C# and my visual design work is done in Adobe Suite and Blender 3D.

Steve Pomroy holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering.  With over 20 years and 6,000 hours of flying time, most of his professional experience is as a pilot.  He's currently employed as a Captain flying a Dash-8-Q400 aircraft at a regional airline in Canada.

Steve's teaching background includes three years teaching Mechanical Engineering at an international college in the Middle East, and many years (and thousands of flight hours!) as a flight instructor, both civilian and military.
