In A biblical understanding of end time events, Michael E.B. Maher presents a detailed chronological sequence of end-time events based on Scripture. He begins by identifying the fourth kingdom (Islam) from which the Antichrist will emerge, tracing seven historical kingdoms centered on Babylon. Key events include the restoration of natural Israel as a nation, the rebuilding of the third temple, the fullness of the Gentiles coming into the church, and a great falling away.
Maher describes the ten kings (Islamic leaders) who will destroy the world’s economic system (“Babylon the great”) through nuclear-like fire. The Antichrist (a hybrid angelic being from the Nephilim) and the false prophet will be revealed, performing signs and enforcing the mark of the beast. The two witnesses (Moses and Elijah) will minister to Israel in the wilderness for 3.5 years, leading many Jews to salvation.
The Antichrist will invade Israel, break a seven-year peace treaty, and stand in the temple. Jewish believers will flee to the mountains. After the church is caught away (rapture), God’s wrath is poured out. Christ returns with His saints, defeats the Antichrist’s army at Armageddon, and casts the Antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire.
