Description

Welcome to the 8 Strings Guitar Essentials (Warm Up and Riffs)

I'm Rafael Bianzeno and firstly I would like to thank you for the interest on this video lesson.

In this video, I’m going to show you some exercises for the right hand, mainly using the thumb technique. You will use your thumb as you would use a pick.

The wrist position will be the key to learn this technique. Take a look in my right hand and pause the video to check the position I do.

Firstly, we will cover a few warm up excersises, the ones that I do pretty much every day before start playing my songs or writing new riffs.

I will also show in this video lesson some Rock/Fusion chord progressions that you will find in my original song “Changes”.

All the examples have drums as guide and I play them in quarter notes, eighth notes and sixteenth notes.

Finally, we will learn 6 songs (actually they are my original songs from my instrumental album “Changes”).

You will find all the tabs in PDF files and the guitar pro files included in the video.

I also recorded the backing tracks of the songs for you to practice.

You will notice the way that simple excersises will become riffs and songs.

I believe that’s is goal for this video, to show you the way I write my songs and the way I incorporate the thumb technique in my playing.

Hope you enjoy it! See you later!

Rafael Bianzeno
