7 TOOLS OF QUALITY

Quality is one of the more difficult factors to measure and define. Yet, it is also quite an important factor. It does not matter whether we are talking about manufacturing or the services sector. In all sectors, quality does matter quite a lot. There are many ways to grasp and improve quality in a structural way. One of these ways is by employing the 7 tools of quality, also sometimes referred to as the 7 basic tools of quality. In concrete terms, we will teach you the following basic quality tools.


  • Basic quality tool: Histograms

  • Basic quality tool: Scatter plots

  • Basic quality tool: Pareto charts

  • Basic quality tool: Control charts

  • Basic quality tool: Process mapping

  • Basic quality tool: Cause and effect diagram
