Welcome to Day 4 of Magical Mornings! Congratulations on making it more than halfway through this course! In today's module, there are a few action items on your plate. In addition to our regular routine, today will be the day you start to give back to yourself. From the moment we open our eyes, we begin to set the tone for the entire day. Most of us do this unconsciously, and we find ourselves quickly buried in thoughts about everything we need to get done. As our mind runs through a laundry list of things to do, overwhelm, and dread set in.
Then we end up stubbing our toe on the bedframe, spilling coffee on our shirt, missing the bus on the way to work, etc. etc. etc. What we don't realize is that we're creating this reality for ourselves because rather than greeting the day with joy and excitement, we greet the day with anxiety instead. As a result, rather than being productive and present many of us end up procrastinating and trying to distract ourselves from our never-ending to-do list.
We scroll through social media, binge watch TV, check our email 1,000,000 times, and end up wasting most of our day doing absolutely nothing that feeds our soul's purpose.
Not only is this an unfulfilling way to live, but it also sells us short of our true potential and greatness.
