Description

Chinese buzzword is a very interesting lexical phenomenon.

Some of the words come from real life, and some come from foreign words. They reflect the recent hot issues and some ongoing changes in our society.

You will often come across buzzwords when chatting with Chinese people, especially the youth, surfing the Internet, and using the social medias. Some buzzwords have become common usages appeared in traditional medias. Mastering common buzzwords, whether you are chatting with Chinese people or surfing the Internet, will make you feel smoother and more integrated into this culture.

We picked 60 commonly used buzzwords and divided them into two categories. One is Internet buzzwords, and the other is social topic buzzwords. They will be introduced to you in the form of short videos. In addition to introducing the initial meaning and content of each buzzword, examples and usages will also be provided in the video.

Advanced students with a Chinese vocabulary of 4000-5000 are suitable for this video course. For example, if you are studying for the HSK Level 6 or have passed the Level 6 exam.
