  1. RF Planning (Radio Frequency Planning):

    • Coverage Planning: Determine the geographical area to be covered and design the network to provide reliable coverage throughout this area.

    • Capacity Planning: Estimate the expected user density and traffic in different areas to ensure the network can handle the anticipated load.

    • Frequency Planning: Allocate frequencies to different cells to avoid interference and maximize spectrum efficiency.

  2. Site Selection:

    • Identify suitable locations for cell sites (base stations) based on factors such as coverage requirements, capacity needs, and existing infrastructure.

  3. Network Dimensioning:

    • Determine the number and placement of base stations to meet coverage and capacity objectives.

    • Consider factors such as cell size, antenna height, and transmit power.
