Description

The goal of this course is to teach you 75 English idioms which will allow you to express yourself in a more colourful way, and to understand some of the expressions that native English speakers use every day.

I have selected 75 common English Idioms which can be found at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English.

This course is divided into fifteen units. In each unit, we will look at five English idioms. Each unit contains a video which will present the idioms in context, before giving you a more precise definition with further examples.

Once you have watched the video, I encourage you to try the quizzes, which will test how well you remember the idioms and their definitions.

The best way to remember any language item is to use it, so I strongly recommend that you make personal examples for each idiom. Think of a situation that you have lived, and think how you could apply the idiom.

In each unit, you will also find MP3 recordings, and PDFs of the transcript and definitions and examples which you can download and use whenever you like.

Now that you know what’s waiting for you, let’s start the course!
