
Develop and implement an emergency response plan (ERP) with evacuation procedures, emergency team roles, training, drills, and hazard inventory to prevent incidents and protect lives.
Learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency response team, including activating the emergency action plan, forming the emergency committee, assigning duties, and coordinating drills and risk assessments.
Coordinate ERP drills and train the emergency response team in firefighting, spill containment, first aid, and evacuation, while coordinating with external agencies to protect lives and property.
Watch and reflect on a fire emergency drill, record findings as an emergency response coordinator, and recommend improvements to the emergency preparedness and response plan within a 30-minute planning session.
This is a blended course. There are 2 parts to this course- an online portion and classroom training. On completion of both components, the participants of this course will gain the knowledge and skills for fulfilling the role of a coordinator and supervisor in accordance with WSH level B Competency- based training programme.
This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge Coordinate and monitor the implementation of WSH management systems and programs for recognition, assessment, control and management of WSH risks.
