The Minimally Qualified Candidate (MQC) is a conceptualization of the certification candidate that possesses the minimum knowledge, skills, experience, and competence to just meet our expectations of a credentialed individual. The Minimally Qualified Candidate for the VCAP-DTM Design certification has a working knowledge of VMware vSphere and advanced knowledge of VMware end-user computing solutions (including, but not limited to technologies such as VMware Horizon (7.1/7.2) View , ThinApp, vSAN, Workspace One, App Volumes, vRealize Operations for Horizon, Identity Manager, User Environment Manager). The candidate typically has 5+ years of general IT experience with at least 12 months of experience recommending and designing end-user computing solutions that meet customer goals and requirements in a production environment. Candidates possess an advanced knowledge of end-user computing environments and components, enabling them to recommend and design VMware solutions to meet specific goals and requirements.
