Description

"This course contains the use of artificial intelligence"

Note: This course uses a speaker with AI-generated voice.

Topics: in this course we will study the Sweep Pro plugin dedicated to the modeling of an Architectural interior scene.

In the first part of the course we will study how to install the Plugin and its additional libraries to enhance its resources; once we understand the activation procedure we will study the creation of profiles and management of the pivots to orient the objects created as we wish; we will study the relationship that exists between Sweep Pro and 3ds max splines to manage the detail and quality of the generated objects; we will study how to manage the bevel through the plugin and through the modifiers offered by 3ds max; we will study how to modify the size of the sections to our liking to achieve numerical precision of the objects created with Sweep Pro; We will study how to create personal libraries to increase the creation possibilities offered by the Plugin.

In the second part of the course we will do a concrete step-by-step architectural modeling exercise dedicated to interiors; specifically we will model the door shown in the presentation and all its decorative profiles using Sweep Pro; we will also study how to apply the specific Mapping coordinates to all the modeled objects through the various modifiers offered by 3dsmax, ranging from the most complete Unwrap to the lightest UVW Map.

In the third part of the course we will focus on the analysis of the render and its creation with the illustration of the lighting parameters, cameras, management of render settings, post-production internal to Vray Next, creation of materials and maps dedicated to the final render created via cpu and gpu.

Attached to the lessons are available the 3ds max 2017, 2019, 2020 and higher compatible exercise files.

Note: the exercise files are attached to the lesson: " 002_Installing Additional Libraries "

Note: To follow the course it is necessary to have the "Sweep Pro" plugin for 3ds max, or the Free "Sweep Profile" version

Updates: in the new section " Extra exercise: Substance Painter and Vray " we will study how to export the 3ds max model in Substance Painter to realize the 3D painting, manage the masks, the generators, the Bake and the Export of the PBR Textures to import again in 3ds max to render in Vray.

Attached to the lessons are available the 3ds max 2017, 2020 and higher compatible exercise files.

Note: the exercise files are attached to the lesson: " 034_Unwrap and Export FBX"
