Action Step: Figure out what you are going to offer. Take the list you created in Day #4 and see what services you can market today. Do you like website creation and SEO, PERFECT. What about SEO and blogging? Or Social Media and Facebook Ads?

Action Step: Figure Out Your Niche. This is your FIRST step in finding (and thriving in) your niche/market. Once you commit to a niche, look below for next steps on how to get super clear on your niche so that you can kill it in the online service provider world.

Action Steps:

• Decide which entity type makes the most sense for your business (consult with an attorney for more guidance)

• Determine if you are required to register your business in your state/country/province/country

• Obtain a business ID number

• Open a business checking account

• Call an insurance agent to determine what you need

• Decide which contract you need and purchase templates

• Choose an accounting system and set it up

• Decide if you are going to hire a bookkeeper or do it yourself

• Schedule bi-weekly “money meetings”

• Decide if you are going to hire an accountant to prepare your taxes

• Create a calendar of your tax filing obligations

Action Step: Make a list of every place online and offline your ideal customer hangs out in. Then refer to the resources section to learn how to proceed.

Action Step: It’s time to set up your Facebook business page. Make sure to follow every step we just covered. You got this!

Action Steps: Decide RIGHT NOW if you are going to commit to Instagram. And if you are, go out and create your Instagram account. Then post your first photo with the requirements just listed.

If you are going to be using an account you already have, then I suggest deleting all posts that are totally off brand and don’t match the layout you choose from step #2. That way you can still look polished and keep your old stuff and engagement.

Action Steps:

• Add an updated photo, update your title and headline

• Now go in and update your banner

• Finally go ahead and start looking for keywords that you ideal clients would use to search for you.

Action Step #1: CHOOSE IF YOU’RE GOING TO MAKE A WEBSITE(I WOULD) and commit to learning about how to get hosting, and a domain name.

Action Step #2: Time for some copywriting. Just remember this – your website is more about your client than you so make sure you do some market research (google surveys in facebook groups) about gaining some insight into your market and who you are going to serve.

Action Step: Create a canned response of your referral letter. You can tailor this to how you talk and how you want to run your business. Don’t just copy the examples in the resource section for today.
