We ease in and set the tone of our 30 Day Journey with a gentle, be kind to yourself flow.
Day 2 I share with you the first of five morning practices that focus on giving yourself some LOVE.
We get a lot of feedback on YouTube and our Membership site on how much people connect with the Hatha-Yin fusion practices we do so you can expect a Hatha-Yin fusion practice each week. This morning's practice will help you feel more connected and grounded to the Earth, in the here and now, in this present moment appreciating all the little subtleties and beauties of life.
Today I share with you a Hatha yoga sequence that will leave you feeling sooo good in mind body and spirit for your day ahead. Feel Good Vibes ✌️
Day 5 we flow a little quicker at more of a vinyasa pace for this Sunrise Morning Flow! We'll set the tone for a mindful, feel good day ahead!
If you spend your days working at a computer, then starting your mornings off with some upper body opening love will be amazing for your posture! This mornings practices has your back.
Every 7th practice in this Morning Yoga Journey will include a shorter morning practice as I know many of us may be more crunched for time trying to take care of to-do's so you can be free over the weekend. With that in mind, we incorporate a weekly Yoga Quickie, but the style will change each week. This week we have a fun Vinyasa inspired practices filmed at a tranquil location - San Ignacio Springs in Baja California Sur, MX.
Today's practice kicks off week 2 of our Morning Yoga Journey. This practice is a full body stretch deep stretch. I don't use any props in this practice, but yoga blocks and/or bolsters/pillows may be helpful in some of the more advance poses like firelog or half/front splits. If you are ready for a full body awakening, hop into something comfy and join me on the mat!
We’ll join together this morning for Day 9 of our 30 Day Morning Yoga Journey deepening your mind-body connection by cultivating intuitive movement in this self loving flow.
If there is one thing I love the feeling of it is lengthening and opening those side bodies in the morning. I hope this hits the spot for day 10!
Skip the morning cup of caffeinated joe and tap into the tools of your body that you already have to energize!! Hit play and see how it goes!! Hydration and nutritious, balanced fueling will help too!
This is our midweek morning yoga practice that is inspired more by Vinyasa Yoga rather than Hatha to serve as your midweek pick-me-up/boost of energy! This practice should leave you with all the feels.
I hope you are ready for a peaceful, soothing morning yoga experience. This is a Hatha yoga practice with a pranayama practice incorporated. I don’t use any props, but 2 yoga blocks and a rolled up blanket or a pillow to sit up on may be helpful to support your body. Hop into something comfy, light a candle or burn some incense setting a loving environment for yourself, and I’ll join you seated on the mat.
Day 14 brings our second Yoga Quickie! I want to support you carving out time on the mat to tend to and connect with your body before you move throughout your day yet give you some time back for other things. While this practice is just over 10 minutes, it does a great job of being very close to a full body stretch. I don't believe you will need any props, but go ahead and have them nearby just in case! Enjoy!
We’ll join together for day 15 -- the halfway point -- of our 30 day Morning Yoga Journey!! Today’s practice is a wonderful way to take care of the health of your lower back.
If you have yoga blocks go ahead and have them nearby! If you don't that is perfectly okay too! You can do this practice without... but you may consider investing in some to see if they help to increase your yoga time on the mat!! (Or try a few books stacked together or something similar -- just be sure it is firm and steady and won't collapse when you need it most!)
I am so excited to share this beautiful self-love practice that was filmed right at sunrise. What comes with the sunrise though, is a darker video at the beginning so my sincerest apologies for that, but I hope my verbal cues support you without needing to look at the screen.
No props are needed for today’s practice, but of course have them nearby just in case.
Hop into something comfy and create a loving, supportive environment for your self-love practice. I’ll join you on the mat.
Welcome to Day 17! This was filmed at an AirBNB in Los Cabos, MX with some very pretty vines in the background that didn’t come through the greatest in the video : / I do hope you enjoy the change of environment. If you have yoga blocks this would be a great practice to have them nearby as there will be many opportunities to incorporate them throughout the practice… especially if you are practicing this very close to the time you wake up! Blocks would be great in reclined butterfly under each leg, half split underneath your each palm as you hinge forward, and maybe even to sit upon or recline back to when in our 2nd yin pose (half saddle).
This practice is filmed just after sunrise, an amazing time of day to practice! In the mornings some love right away on the upper body can do some good! You may find yoga blocks helpful from time to time so have those nearby just in case. Roll out that mat and let's give that upper body some love!
With our midweek practices I like to do an energizing, pick me up flow! This is a wonderful practice to create a little heat and energize for the day. It’s like a cup of coffee for your spirit.
Today I share with you a yoga detox practice which means we will be flowing through various twisting poses. Twists are a wonderful way to start your day, helping with digestion and energizing your body. I don’t use any blocks in this practice, but if you have some, make sure they are nearby as there are many twisting poses we take that you may find helpful to have them to help promote good alignment in your body.
Let’s twist and get energized!
It’s Day 21 -- Time for our morning yoga quickie to help you connect, feel refreshed and ready for your day! I’ll join you seated on the mat.
I hope this morning's Kundalini practice leaves you feeling energized yet calm and centered for your day! I don't have too many Kundalini practices so if you enjoy this style please be sure to leave a comment on the video! This is an intermediate level practice and it is our longest Kundalini yoga practice to date. Please be kind with yourself and honor your body throughout the various practices.
Today = Morning Self Love Flow in this 30 Morning Yoga Journey!! Hop into something super comfy cozy, create a loving environment for yourself, roll out your mat and let’s love on your body!
Have those yoga props nearby to support meeting your body right where it is at.
Good Morning Friend! This is our final Hatha-Yin Fusion practice of the 30 Day Morning Yoga Journey! This one happens to be my favorite (thinking I saved the best for last ?). 2 Yoga Blocks, a rolled up blanket and/or pillow and yoga bolster may be helpful to fill the gap between you and the earth in our yin poses whether that be resting your torso to a pillow/bolster in caterpillar, butterfly or sleeping swan. A blanket/pillow under your seat in caterpillar or butterfly to help tilt your pelvis forward… or maybe blanket/pillows under your hips during sleeping swan. Props props props! They love to support you!!!
Let’s greet this day with smiles! Today as we flow when we pause and hold poses, I invite you to spread a soft smile upon your face. Notice how this affects your experience in the pose and your overall experience of the practice. What’s the power of a smile upon your face?!?!
This is our 2nd sunrise flow of the 30 Day Morning Yoga Journey. I like to make my Sunrise flows more of a Vinyasa flow nature flowing 1 breath per movement to awaken our body by uniting our body and breath through movement. There is one flow we take where having a yoga block may be very beneficial to bring the earth up to you to promote space and openness across your chest… I forgot my yoga block so I improvised with the help of my 4-legged friend.
There was something about this late morning at the beach that I just wished I could transport the sunshine, the breeze, and of course the view of the water glistening in the sun and waves crashing to each of you through the video. It was just so wonderful and felt like the perfect vibe for this easy morning hatha yoga practice. You may find 2 yoga blocks helpful as we hold low lunge and lizard poses so have them nearby just in case!
This mornings practice should be a short, sweet and fun morning quickie practice! Explore what it feels like to flow from the front to back of the mat. We will be taking triangle pose so if you find a yoga block helpful in that pose to prevent collapsing in your chest so you can more easefully find alignment and open your heart to the sky, then have your blocks nearby.
Let’s hop to it!
Good morning my dear friend, this is bittersweet. Our 2nd to final practice of this series. With our final 2 practices we will be focusing on that beautiful heart center of yours. Today's practice is a yin practice for opening your heart, this is in preparation for the focus of tomorrow's practice, our final day 30.
Please have all your helpful yoga props nearby for today’s practice: yoga blocks, yoga bolsters/pillow cushions, yoga strap/belt. If you do not have any props that is okay!! All of the asanas in this practice can be held without the use of props, but there is 1 asana (support fish) that I strongly encourage you to have a bed pillow or couch cushion to help focus on the heart center.
I am so grateful to be practicing with you on Day 30. Props to you my friend! You have done your whole being some good. We will begins today's practice in the final pose of yesterday's heart opening practices - Supported fish - so have your props nearby!
I hope you enjoyed our final 2 practices focused on your heart center and you found them to be a nice closing to our 30 day morning yoga journey. Please comment below and let us know that you completed the 30 days! And if you have anything lined up to jump into next! As you walk through your days my friend, remember I am always here to lend you a loving helping hand, I support you!
Sending you my love.
This course is a dedication to the self. To the morning. To that sacred space that exists before all the flurried and busy events of the day begin. To that notion of setting the tone for the day by first connecting with yourself and by intentionally greeting the day. While the morning ritual beckons many of us, it can be hard to get out of bed early enough to greet ourselves and the day this way, everyday. This 30 Day Morning Yoga Journey has been established to bring a loving, gentle and soothing touch to getting our routine established and deepening the connection with the start of each day. We'll also get the blood flowing, build some strength, and increase flexibility throughout the journey as well! It is about keeping a balance and a respect to building a sacred space for ourselves in the morning. It is about keeping our morning space filled with loving-kindness and mindfulness so that we can help to keep ourselves rolling out of bed for more - each and every day! This 30 Day Morning Yoga Journey is here so all you have to do is roll out of bed, hop into something comfy and press ▶️ to be guided through a feel good morning yoga practice.
