After an initial start in the food and beverage industry as a student worker, Adriano’s professional career ventured into aviation. Being exposed to several recurrent training processes as a commercial pilot, he started taking a keen interest in training delivery. This interest developed into a passion and since 2006 Adriano has been involved actively in training delivery and development.
His inputs in training ranged across different levels, from the training of air cadets to the recurrent training of seasoned flying crews, air operators’ staff, and trainers. He has now teamed up with his wife, Velitchka to help in her research on ANTS (Anesthesia Non-Technical Skills) and the development of the Non-Techs learning platform.
Adriano has a fascination for human development and has a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Aviation Management – Training and Human Factors. He is also a crew resource management trainer (CRMT) and an associate member of the European Association for Aviation Psychology (EAAP).
Adriano loves trekking, open water swimming, and fitness activities.
