Description
This course is designed to assist those who are desirous of leading a life of healthy self-allegiance and self-fidelity and to develop positive, friendly, inner self-talk.
It will assist students in stepping aside from ego-centredness and to arrive at a place of deep appreciation for the world around them and to embrace their experiences of it and their own roles within it.
The course contains experiential components that will enhance insights and energy, as well as providing clearing and closure tools for beliefs, behaviors and blocks to self-esteem and self-awareness.
The course also contains 150 very practical existential questions to assist in potential pathways to the palace of personal possibilities and options.

Instructor
Stephen (Steve) King has a B.Sc. degree in Health and Human Services and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who is the instructor for the three Udemy courses entitled 'PTSD: Cleaning and Clearing Shock & Trauma', 'Authenticity; How to Achieve it' and 'Addiction, Anxiety, Depression & Trauma'.
He is an avid runner, race-walker and triathlete who has held six national age group records, has raced at Ironman and Ultraman triathlon distances and has been a member of Canada`s national 100km team. In 2001 he became only the second Canadian ever to complete the grueling Badwater Death Valley 135 mile run and he put together a a photo journal of this challenge on Youtube, accompanied by the song ‘Road to Hell’ (written by Rea/Anton) and sung by Steve himself.
Steve was also the publisher of `Tri-Fit Quarterly`, a national triathlon magazine, author of a triathlon training log and CBC`s colour commentator for the sport of triathlon. He is also the race announcer for many sports events including Ironman Canada (now Challenge Penticton). He has an avid interest in healthy balance and wholism and in 2012 he was inducted into the BC Athletics Hall of Fame and is in the Frontrunners Walk of Fame in Victoria, BC. He was honored by a local couple of businessmen who recently produced a bobblehead likeness of Steve, which even has its own Facebook page of photos showing him bobbing up in a variety of locales around the world (Adventures of #bobblehead Steve).
Steve has worked as a Clinical Counsellor at Pathways Addictions Resource Centre in Penticton since 1989 and he authored three books on energy psychology and PTSD entitled, `Rapid Recovery: Accelerated Information Processing & Healing`, 'PTSD: Cleaning and Clearing Shock & Trauma' , 'The Book of Existential Questions' and the companion book to this course '12 Steps to Authenticity'. He also co-edited ‘Running in the Zone` and is a contributing writer to ‘Gin & Platonic and Other Short Stories with a Twist’ and ‘Triathlete in Transition’.
