敘事治療是一種以敘述故事重構生命主線的訪談方略, 旨在協助參與者探索自己的獨特智慧及資源,從而更有力地面對人生。 敘事工作理論近年已被廣泛應用在心理治療、人物專訪、小組討論、社區教育等等不同領域。「簡易敘事實踐」是一個初階課程,特別為對敘事工作有興趣的朋友而設。此課程由香港浸會大學社會工作系陳智達教授主責設計及任教。
Narrative Therapy is an interview strategy for reconstructing life stories, which aims to help participants explore their own unique wisdom and resources so as to face life challenges more effectively. In recent years, narrative practice has been widely used in different fields such as psychotherapy, character interviews, group discussions, and community education. "Concise Narrative Practice" is an introductory course specially designed for those who are interested in narrative work. This course is designed and taught by Prof Chitat CHAN from the Department of Social Work at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Instructors
Prof Chitat Chan is currently an associate professor at the Department of Social Work of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) (he was previously an associate professor at PolyU). He teaches narrative practice and researches the use of digital technology for psychosocial interventions. Prof Chan worked in school social work in the 1990s, in secondary school education and educational technology in the 2000s, and has been teaching in tertiary education since 2010. He received his social work degree, theatre studies diploma, and MPhil in Hong Kong; and his PhD from UCL Institute of Education. A number of Chan’s research projects have been funded by the RGC of the UGC, or by large charity foundations. These projects include a digital storytelling project exploring diverse identities of Hongkongers, a civic education program developing open-mindedness and social inclusiveness, and the human libraries hub project addressing social prejudices.
Muhammad Adnan is a dedicated researcher and educator with expertise in psychology, AI, and data analytics. Passionate about academic research, mental health, and technology, he actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects, leveraging AI for innovative solutions. He has participated in international hackathons, published academic papers, and mentors students in research and critical thinking. Always eager to collaborate, Muhammad is committed to making a meaningful impact in both academia and technology.
