
Lesson 1 is an introductory to the course. I summarize how Mindfulness & Meditation can help us with stress. I share with you my personal story of how I transformed myself and began to help others heal also.
Lesson 2 is an overview and introduction to Mindfulness & Meditation. We go over the basics of both and how Awareness is the first key foundation for this healing technique. Awareness is the 1st of the 10 Key Step of Mindfulness to help you reduce stress and find peace. It is the foundation of Mindfulness. Being aware of your thoughts, feelings and actions helps us find a better way to react and deal with stressful situations. This lesson goes into further detail about Awareness and how it can help your reduce stress and find peace.
Step 2 of the 10 Steps of Mindfulness is Breath & Breathing. Deep Breathing is a key technique to help you let go of stressful situations and negative emotions. Meditation is part of this also. In this lesson we will learn the first steps of using breath & breathing to help you.
Its essential with Mindfulness that we learn to let go of the noise around us. Both the physical noise, but also the mental noise, the "chatter in our mind" that is going on in our fast paced world. To let go of stress and react in a positive emotional way, letting go of the noise and slowing down helps us find peace. In this lesson we learn more about how to do this.
Grounding with the Earth is another essential step of Mindfulness. We need to connect with the earth daily in order to both find peace and our strength. We are of the Earth, we rely on the Earth for our survival. We are physical human beings. It is important we connect with the Earth and ground with its energy. In lesson 6 we focus on how to ground with the Earth and why it is so essential in our Mindfulness practice.
We tend to hold on to our past, our "victim blame story" that affects us in the present emotionally. With Mindfulness we need to work on letting go of these old beliefs that cause us stress and emotional overreaction. In this lesson we examine our old beliefs and how we can let them go over time to find peace with a regular Mindfulness & Meditation practice.
A key to Mindfulness is to let go of the Past and focus on the Present. In particular letting go of our past negative beliefs using Active Meditation. This is a powerful technique and one of our key steps to help us find peace in our present life and reduce stress. In this lesson we go into the transforming steps of active meditation and how through meditation we can let go of our old negative stories and beliefs that affect our present life, and instead reduce stress and find our peace & happiness.
Meditation is a key to Mindfulness, Stress Reduction and Healing. Think of Meditation as a part of Mindfulness. In this lesson I go over the two types of Meditation, both short and long, and their differences in helping you. Short Meditation is more for immediate stress reduction. Long Meditation can then help you change old negative habits and behaviors patterns that hold you back from finding peace. Both types are important and essential to you finding peace and reducing stress.
It is important for Mindfulness and Stress Reduction that we focus our energy and feelings on the higher vibrations. That is the higher emotions, such as love, joy, contentment and peace, instead of the lower emotions, such as anger, resentment, jealousy or judgment. Through Meditation and Mindfulness we utilize our breathing and awareness to shift our emotions to the higher energies thus helping us reduce stress and find peace. In this lesson I share in more detail how to do this.
Another key to Mindfulness is to tap into and connect with a larger Universal Energy. We are energy and part of a larger source that connects us all. With Mindfulness and Meditation we are given tools to connect with this larger energy and utilize it for healing and peace. In this lesson we go more into depth on how to connect with this energy.
In the final Mindfulness step of this section we go into more depth key steps of Meditation that help us disrupt and change negative patterns & habits. We then are able to let positive patterns emerge to help us heal and deal with stress in a positive way. Although all Meditation is essential for stress reduction and change, we utilize Active Meditation with affirmations, visualization and mantra or prayer to help us change and find peace. This lesson goes deeper into these techniques.
In our journey towards stress reduction and healing it is important that we take small steps and not feel guilty or overwhelmed. The small steps without pressure is the key to lasting change. Find the Mindfulness steps and Meditation techniques that resonate with you and use those as your foundation. Repetition is important yet if you miss a day its okay, just keep at it and you will see change for the better. In this lesson I go a bit deeper in the importance of small steps.
The Ripple Effect is tied to the Law of Attraction. Like a stone being thrown into a pond our thoughts, feelings and actions reverberate outwards like the ripples in the water. These ripples then effect others in either a positive or negative way. What you think and feel manifests. So positive loving energy reverberates outward to others and helps them in positive way. It is energy and it does affect others around you. In this lesson I discuss this theory and how to be aware of the Ripple Effect in your life.
The key to change is to keep practicing on a daily and weekly level. Repetition is a key to changing your negative habits and reducing stress. If you need to miss a day its ok, just find a schedule or pattern that works for you. Keep practicing. Work it into your schedule. Utilize both short and long meditations for your changes and peace. Find support and groups if it will help also. The important key step is to make Mindfulness & Meditation part of your life.
