As a Partner at Svensen Neighbour Recruiting, Chantelle is passionate about building teams and believes employees are an organization’s most valuable resource. Understanding an employer's and employee's motivators, behaviours and competencies is what she feels contributes to a successful employer/employee match. Her experience in coaching, marketing, fundraising, and account management allows her to provide a multi-faceted approach to her client’s needs.
Chantelle is a strategic and supportive leader who has extensive experience in the post-secondary education industry where she spent over ten years in the development and advancement field working with both corporate and alumni donors and various stakeholders. She has led successful teams that generated funding for the institute as well as increased alumni and donor engagement.
Passionate about education, Chantelle holds a Master of Business Administration, an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and an honours Marketing diploma. She is a certified DISC, 12 Driving Forces® and Acumen professional through TTI Success Insights. Chantelle also teaches in the JR Shaw School of Business as a management and HR sessional instructor. She volunteers her time in her community as a board member with Business Link and committee member with the University of Alberta's Venture Mentoring Service.
