I appreciated how the course was broken down into different elements of teaching and a short demonstration of each app was given. I have found Monica's website, Class Tech Tips, and emails very helpful before taking this course. Now her recommendations come to life in the course. With an ever growing list of resources, it is nice to be able to find a place to get quick, teacher-tested, organized resources for a busy teacher, and I look forward to checking out the additional teacher blogs she mentioned in the course, as well.
This course gives a ton of information in a very short period of time and all of the applications for in the classroom. It also gives actual demonstrations on how to use the apps.
This course provides some great information about what to do with one (or even multiple) iPads in a classroom. Many useful apps are demonstrated and each video is the perfect length of time. A great course for a teacher who has just received an iPad for his/her class. I follow Monica on Twitter and I saw her post about it and was very excited. At the end of last year my class earned enough money in our school fund raiser to get an iPad Mini for the class. I finally got it the last week of school, so I am looking forward to using it in my class. I teach middle school so I wasn't sure how I was going to use it, then I saw this course! I found the course very informative and useful. I have downloaded most of the apps talked about in the lectures. I liked that I could watch the videos at my own pace and re-watch them if need be. I am looking forward to using them in my class in the coming weeks (I start school next week) I'm looking forward to Part 2!!
