Chi Fitness is a holistic fitness training regime that focuses on 3Ms. The 3Ms are to Maximize the body’s potential in Fitness and Losing Weight, to Maintain a Stress-Free mind and to Maintain and rehabilitate injuries.

Chi Gong is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for health, spirituality, and martial arts training. With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, Chi Gong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi), translated as "life energy".

In Chi Fitness, we plan the training carefully and and ensure that there is a balance between an individual’s physical abilities and correct technique. Thus, weight loss and fitness conditioning is a realistic and achievable goal.

In this lesson, participants will be introduced to the benefits of running with strength conditioning mixed with the principles of Chi Gong. In addition, the students will be taught how to relieve stress using Chi Gong as part of the cooling down process. The lesson will cover many aspects in health and fitness. The programmes will cover Metabolism Speed Boost Preparation and Warm Up and Workout, Chi Gong for rehab and stress relief, Breathing Techniques, Plyometrics, FOG (Fast Oxidative Glycolytic) Muscle improvement workouts, endurance training and many more.

Chi Fitness Instructor and Coach

Coach Will Soo has been sharing with his students, the benefits of chi fitness. He has won numerous medals in 400m, 800m, 1500m, 4x400m, 4x100m, 5000m and 10000m events. He is the 800m Singapore Masters Medalist. He has also won 3rd place in the Standard Chartered Marathon Ekiden Event. Coach Will is a also a certified VIT physical education teacher and a certified athletics coach since 2008. His students have won several championships in national running events.

His training philosophy is to maximize students' potential and help them to excel. His coaching style is interesting and his lessons are easy to understand and students pick up the techniques fast as his demonstrations are clear and concise.

Coach Will has a Post Graduate Diploma in Physical Education and Sports Science from Nanyang Technological University (World ranked 13th University). He is also a Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registered teacher. 

Coach Will also has a Bachelor's Degree in Computing with merit from the National University of Singapore (World ranked 12th University) He has 8 years of coaching experience in Cross Country and Sprints in Schools and for the masses. He held the position of a Head of Department and has 8 years of experience teaching Physical Education in Schools.

Students who trained with Coach Will achieved many National Cross Country Championships, Standard Chartered Marathon Medals and numerous Track medals

He is also a certified Track and Field Coach and a Certified Physical Training Instructor

Chi Master Shuxian trains with Coach Will and is part of the Singapore National Team for Tai Chi. Her lessons on Chi Gong are authentic and original. The lessons are clear and easy to understand. Armed with a degree in psychology from the national university of Singapore, she understands sports psychology and the human psyche.
