Safiyah has a BA in Psychology and Education from William Paterson University, a MA in Educational Administration, School Principal and Supervisor Certification from Rutgers University, a Masters of Education and School Superintendent Certification from Columbia University and is in her final year of Doctoral work at Columbia.

At age 25, Safiyah became the youngest School Founder, Principal, and CEO in the state of New Jersey upon the founding and development of an environmental themed non profit - acquiring millions of dollars in revenue. Since, she has proudly watched her vision of high expectations, environmental service and wellness become a reality. 

Following this initiative Safiyah became one of New York City's Assistant Superintendent's overseeing the evaluation of the city's1700 Public Schools and supporting school principals in their mission of ongoing school improvement.

Today, she has built a consulting and coaching firm that works with the United States Department of Education, high level universities , state departments and supports women in developing and launching new ventures.

She resides in the northeast with her husband and their adorable cat "Brooklyn" and enjoys frequent visits the farmers market.
