I have been working in the field of English as a Second Language since 1992. I began my career as a language tutor in Athens, Greece. I received a Bachelors degree in English from the American College of Greece in 1999. I returned to the US to pursue my Masters degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Boston and worked there as an ESL tutor for two years. Once I graduated I began teaching grammar, writing, and critical thinking, for the American College of Greece for a year and went on to teach grammar, critical thinking, and English Literature at Quincy College.
My first experience teaching online was when I accepted a position as online instructor at University of Phoenix teaching writing, grammar and literature courses for four years. Finally in 2004 I accepted a position of Business Communications Instructor at the University of Massachusetts Boston where I have been teaching oral and business communications courses both on campus and online at the undergraduate and graduate levels for the last 10 years. Due to my teaching online experience I went back to school and received my second Masters degree in Education in Instructional Technology from University of Massachusetts Boston in 2012
