Description

In this course you will learn all about building apps with Java. You'll get an introduction to Java  programming while you learn to develop Java applications for various runtime environments—desktop, web, and mobile—with Eclipse.

First we'll start with a brief review of the language and review the basic building blocks of the Java syntax: variables, functions, arrays, conditional statements, classes, and input/output.

Then we'll discuss building user interfaces, creating data sources for tables, using two-dimensional arrays, using external files to populate table data. We'll talk about publishing desktops apps, sharing class libraries, writing web apps with Java, connecting to databases, and finally, we'll build a simple Android app.

I am a programmer and through my business I work with a variety of Silicon Valley veterans, we've conceived, designed and built mobile and web products that are being used by hundreds of thousands of users every day around the world. Our team has diverse experience ranging from developing highly secure Java based enterprise products to building MVPs for fast paced VC funded start-ups based out of the Silicon Valley. Besides, we do more than just development and help our customers in market research, product design, architecture, user experience and visual design.

Our technical strengths include web applications (Java based frameworks), rich web clients (JQuery, backbone, HTML5, bootstrap) and mobile apps (iOS, Android, PhoneGap).
