"This Augmented Reality course if the best AR course I have ever experienced. The instructor doesn't waste time explaining useless stuff and directly goes to the meat of the concept. It is a good Introduction to Augmented Reality, Unity and Vuforia. I was able to complete my project within an hour without any problems" - Joe Manda
"This is the first course i have taken on Udemy. Learned a lot. Thankyou" - Damir mahi
In this course we will cover every concept that is important to building Augmented Reality android apps and applications. We will be using the most famous framework for AR applications called Vuforia and integrate it with a game building engine called Unity 3D to making amazing looking Applications. We will cover every step in detail and I will explain why that step is important. By the end of this course creating Augmented Reality Applications will be a piece of cake for you.
So, why choose me as an instructor? Why buy this course among all those other courses?
When i was a kid i saw this YouTube video on how make a folder invisible on Windows XP. I was so fascinated with this idea. Since then my love for technology has only grown. I understand the people who are passionate about learning new things. We will create this project together from start to finish.

This is the introduction video where we discuss what we are going to build in this project.
In this video, we are going to going to learn the true meaning of the term Augmented Reality. Most of the students get confused between the terms Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. We are going to throw light on that and learn the differences between them.
In the previous video we learned about augmented reality and what it is. In this lecture i wanted to explain to you the process we are going to go about to create our very first augmented reality application.
The first thing we need to about is Vuforia.
The second thing we are going use is a free software called Unity3d.
And lastly,we will discuss the walk-through of the project and what we are going to be making by the end.
We are going to learn what is Vuforia and how it is going to help us build an Augmented Reality application.
We are also going to signup to use this service.
In order to authorize the usage of Vuforia we need to generate a license key. This tells Unity (going to be used later) that we have the permission to use Vuforia in our project.
Marker/Image Target – this is an image which is recognized and tracked by a mobile device’s camera. This acts as an origin for augmentation. Once recognized, content can be displayed with respect to iy
We are going to discuss a software called Unity and how to install it.
We are going to get familiar with the interface of Unity in this video. Including things like -
1) Camera 2) Package 3) Inspector Panel
We are going to learn about prefabs (A resource that can be used again and again and there is no need to destroy it)
We are going to learn about 3d models and how they are going to be used in the project. We will also learn how to import a free 3d model of red samurai into our project from the Unity Asset Store.
Things we are going to do in this video -
1) Discuss the importance of Packages that have in our project
2) Import the 2 unity packages into our project
3) Add the AR Camera to the scene and hierarchy panel
4) Add the license key to our Unity Project
In this video we are going change the location of our stone_hires image (image target) and add the character of Red Samurai to the scene.
In this video, we are going to load our image data-set and activate it. We are also going to test whether our Augmented Reality application works or not through the webcam.
When I was a kid I saw this YouTube video on how to make a folder invisible on Windows. I have never looked back since then. My love for technology has only grown.
I started with security since that was one of the areas that fascinated me. Then i went on to win the award for designing using Photoshop at Cofas '2012. On the destructive side, I always made scripts that used to mess up the systems at my school. I was almost suspended. I learned my lesson and vowed to do only constructive things. To make people aware of security issues, along with 2 friends started a Facebook page and group called YAP
To make things more interesting Web development came into my life which helped me get into the most prestigious chapter at my college IEEE. This helped me master different things that got my attention
- Android Development
- Machine learning
- Designing ( Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Internet of things ( IOT )
- Software Development
I never really wanted to go to a college. Still against it but it made me realize that the joy of creating something with a team of people is unparalleled. I created a blog called hackstories which helps people who are not so familiar with technology get familiar with it and benefit from it. It has more 2,00,000 views today.
Things I learned and am still learning from it are Writing,Wordpress CMS, SEO, Google Analytics and Adsense and how to market a product after creating it.
