When we are offended we are angry at the one who hurt us because we think they are to blame. In this lesson, you will not only learn that forgiveness brings relief to anger, you will also learn how to achieve this sense of relief. An advantage of forgiveness is becoming free of the suffocating anger that is seething in our hearts.
The impact of forgiveness on human relationships and human interactions are examined, as well as the ways in which forgiveness benefits the forgiver. Forgiveness is indispensable in a healthy relationship. In this lesson, you will learn how forgiveness can heal the pain of the past and allow you to enjoy present friendships without fear and embrace future relationships God has lined up for you. In refusing to forgive, you will lack the trust and hope necessary for old and new relationships.
One of the blessings that God grants us for being forgiving is that we too will receive what we give to others. This lesson focuses on one of the premises by which the believers can enjoy forgiveness from God. Although the blood of Jesus is the basis for our forgiveness, refusal to forgive could stand in the way of the application of the blood of Jesus on our sins, even though He has made salvation possible. Two words are considered in the hope of facilitating forgiveness.
Refusal to forgive must result in God’s refusal to forgive; Jesus’ own words confirm this statement. What price can be placed on God’s refusal to forgive? This lesson looks at the Scriptures and lists the varied consequences and dangers of unforgiveness. More importantly, it examines the eternal repercussions of refusing to forgive.
There is a correlation between our emotions and our health, according to both the Word of God and medical science. This lesson will focus on the effect and impact of both unforgiveness and forgiveness on your physical health. You will learn that unforgiveness can be responsible for a lot of physical ailments incurred by stress. You will want to forgive for the sake of your health!
