Zheng yang men was the only one city gate of Beijing which was completely protected by the main gate and archery tower.

Xuan wu men was located on the westside of the southern inner city wall of Beijing,it was used for the prisoner cart to pass through,we are going to see it in this lecture

Chong wen men stands in the southeastern part of Beijing's inner city.

Fu cheng men was one of the city gates which was on the west part of city wall in Beijing.

An ding men was one of the two ciy gates on the northside of Beijing's inner city.
