In this course, users will learn to use the bar model method to solve word problems that include part-whole, comparison and change situations. Advanced techniques in the method are also included eg multiple comparison and subdivide a bar model. Worked solutions and step by step guidance will be provided. The course also covers the pedagogy behind the bar model method.
After each unit, users will be asked to complete a quiz to recap what they have learnt. At the end of the entire course, users will also be able to test their understanding of the content by answering a final assessment quiz.
