The first thing we will cover will be the basic art concepts and art terms so that when I mention something, you’ll know what I’m talking about, so do look over your vocabulary list! Also, take a look at the PowerPoint of student work. As you finish your projects, send me a picture, so I can add it as well. I will update this PowerPoint often so your work can be included.
Introduction to class. Overview of Art Elements and Art Principles. First Project: Zentangles
Learn about geometric shapes and freeform (organic) shapes. Second Project: Positive/Negative images
