Description

                                                              American Sign Language Level 1

Have you always wanted to master American Sign Language, but thought you had left it far too late to learn? Ever been fascinated by the speed of communication of signers on television and wondered how they picked up the skill? Perhaps you have members of the family or friends/colleagues who are deaf and would benefit from their friend or relative having the sign language skills to communicate effectively?

This course will introduce you via video to the sign alphabet, names, animals, numbers, places and much, much more! From ordering in a restaurant to getting around, this course is the go-to guide to help you get communicating in sign language.

Using useful video demonstrations, this course will provide you with the necessary grounding to become a confident sign communicator, and may even make you more attractive as a candidate in your career.

We have enlisted a well known Deaf presenter Judy Vardon to teach and guide you through the 52 videos in this course. Judy has been Deaf since the age of two, and became famous in the Deaf community when she and her family appeared on America's Extreme Home Makeover show in 2004.
