There is no better way to learn motion graphics than by completing projects. Real projects.
With help of this course you get a good grasp of common workflows and usage and learn After Effects in the process!
There are so many After Effects courses, tutorials and videos which take a majority of the time to explain all the features and how to potentialy use certain things without ever getting on how to actually create it. What good will you bring understanding tools when you don't know the creative process of their usage in real-life examples?
This is why I prepared this, project based course - to both teach you the tools & software and let you create real-life after effects projects right away. It doesn't require any prior deep knowledge of After Effects at all - I will show you detailed steps and simple explanations how to achieve things you want to achieve in the software.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN AFTER EFFECTS NEEDED!
MAKE BEAUTIFUL MOTION GRAPHICS RIGHT AWAY DURING THE COURSE!
Don't get me wrong, learning After effects cc or even the newest after effects cc 2017 version from scratch, tool by tool, handle by handle, element by element is an amazing journey and I also have recorded a comprehensive After Effects course in that fashion, but some of you who are already a bit familiar with video editing, animation or motion graphic (fade in, fade out, trimming, these options are available in every video editing software) would like to start right away.
This course is perfect for students, who want to start learning After Effects right away, from the animation / motion graphics side. This course will not be optimal for people who just want to get a basic grasp of the software and carefully learn each option before they start designing and moving forward.
What are the biggest benefits of this after effects course?

Let me introduce you to this after effects course by telling you what it is and what it is not. Enjoy!
With this lesson I would like you to "jump into the water" with After Effects. I will introduce you to one of your first animations to create which will help you understand the workflow and general movement through After Effects.
In this lecture you can download all available project files from this course!
Let us start by designing our initial circles in after effects.
In the second tutorial we will continue and finalize the design by adding keyframes and coloristic.
This will be our second design, we start this tutorial by creating lines and using the Trim Paths option to make our animation.
We will animate the lines into a spreading circle burst. This will be our second motion graphics after effects project.
With this basic quiz I want to make sure that you stay focused and know what you are doing here!
This will be our first, little more advanced tutorial on a more interested approach on making circle bursts.
Let us finalize the circle animation project by putting it all together.
Let us start the last circle burst we are going to create.
We will use some effects within After Effects to make a nice animation.
Let us duplicate certain elements, recolor them and finalize this motion graphic.
In this tutorial we will start to build up our energy surge animation in After Effects CC
Since we already have the image and the initial animation set let us finalize this motion graphic.
A last touch showing you that it's easily possible to duplicate and multiply the lines we created.
This is a very important animation because going out from this one you will learn how to create similar animations on your own.
Let's finish our stroke animation in after effects and proceed to next projects.
Let us start to create the fluic rectangle project in after effects.
We will set out custom keyframes and work with the path we prepared.
Let us duplicate the object and create interesting coloristic for the entire animation.
Let us start our buttlerfly circle animation in after effects.
Create our initial trim paths animatinons to overlay over each other.
We will replicate the animation and stagger it by 20% of rotation to achieve this nice, rounded effect.
Let us finalize our butterfly circle animation in after effects.
Let's start the first minimal title opener.
We continue the design of our first minimal title opener in after effects by adding text and keyframing the objects.
Let us finalize this after effects animation.
The second minimal title opener will have a different motion, let us start by adding the rectangle and text.
Let's duplicate and animate the rectangle so we achieve a pixelated effect in after effects.
In this lesson we will finalize the minimal title opener #2 animation!
We are starting our third minimal title opener animation
Here we will add and animate the lines on the side.
Here we are going to mask the text so it will reveal itself from the middle
Here we will work with adding a rectangle box which will finalize this animation.
This is a little bonus design experience I would like to share with you. From time to time we have to prepare a design in After Effects that would seem counter-intuitive to make as a graphic designer. Designing in AE is not the same as drawing in Pohotoshop where all the tools are straightforward. I want to show you a technique of making patterns with the repeater in motion graphic software.
Thank you for taking the time to complete After effects motion graphics projects to create right away! You're awesome!
In this bonus lesson I want to share coupon codes for all my After Effects & Powerpoint courses in case you are interested to continue learning with me! Just click the links, preview the course and if you feel that this is the right content for you jump in :)
Hi! My name is Andrzej Pach, more known as "Nigel" and I spend my time with graphic design, motion & animaiton, typography, video editing and online teaching on a daily basis. The majority of my work is done in Adobe After Effects & Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 / 2016 - naturally this is the software I want to teach about and share my experience with you. I have completed well over 3000 graphic projects (On Fiverr alone more than 2500 reviews) for clients, mostly including video animations like intros, outros and transitions for various Youtube channels & marketers. I would like to share the knowledge I was able to "stack up" during the process. I am always willing to help people out by enhancing their brand and Internet media.
Who am I ?
I am a 27 y.o (born 1989) and a University Graduate (July 2014). A few years back after shifting from one hobby to another after getting hired to prepare a website and business card for a local business in my area I finally "felt it". Since then (2011) I was expanding my skillset in this area completing various graphic related projects. Places like the WarriorForum, freelancing websites or graphic contests across the web caught me in its own snare and never let me go.
What is the next step?
After having several years of experience as a freelancer with a keen focus on creativity handling various projects ranging as work for very small businesses to websites and Youtube channels with over 300k subscribers I am looking forward to share my knowledge wrapped up in exciting courses easy to follow and most important - USEFUL for you! I am looking to work with forward-thinking people who wish to create something original, that will reinforce their brand and follow their vibe. I am always committed to provide value while giving away random tips to make your workflow easier.
Did you really create something?
How far would bring me lying and any sort of scam? Nowhere. I do believe in making the Web Business and Internet Marketing world a better place, because my actions will affect my fellowers, friends, family and future children. Since I live in a small village where people work in agriculture or do physical labor work I set the goal for me to be a sort of pioneer in the web-based business field growing myself as a designer every single day.
You can always contact me as I don't mind talking to anyone and sharing how could I help your business or what course I might record if you like my teaching style!
