Please read the e-book available in this section. The picture on the cover of book was designed to show that the mind, body and soul are all connected and this brings our physical self back into harmony with our higher self. Spiritually, the pyramid is a symbol that integrates the mind, body, and soul. The base of the pyramid represents the body. The sides represent the mind and soul. The top of the pyramid symbolizes the union of ourselves with our “higher self” or as some may call it "God". The circle also holds spiritual relevance. Circles can symbolize birth into new life. A circle can mean completeness, unity, infinity, or the divine creator.

It is important to check the energy of the client prior to treatment. It is very common for a client to have an unbalanced chakra system or an unbalanced energy field. We can evaluate the client's energy field by using the traditional reiki style called Byosen scanning. Another method commonly used in practice is pendulum scanning. Before you start your treatment you would scan all energy centers in the body and evaluate the spin on the pendulum and note the response at energy locations.
Ground and connect yourself with the person receiving Reiki. Typically the practitioner will start at the feet to connect and ground the receiver and themselves. It is important to start the movement and alignment of the chakras during a Reiki treatment. The practitioner may return to this grounding technique to increase the flow of Reiki from the Crown to the root. Imagine the flow of energy flowing to the receiver's feet releasing any negative energy. Picture the negative energy exiting out their feet and returning freely to the earth. While doing this technique imagine a circular flowing energy that is rainbow in color including all chakra colors flowing from head to foot and activating the chakras while removing the negative blocks. The activation of the chakras during this technique starts the flow of energy and begins the process to help the negative energy release from the body. Clients may note white light and colors flowing through their minds eye while offering this Reiki method to them.
This technique is great for removing negative energies or black patches in a person's aura. Starting at the crown chakra (above the head)and ending below the feet slowly the practitioner will glide their hands above the client's body in their aura. As the practitioner slowly moves their hands across the client's body they will imagine the negative blocks or particles collecting at their fingertips and slowly releasing the negative energy back to the earth below their feet. Clients will often mention that they can feel the energy while you are using this technique. Clients may also mention that they feel the negative energy release during this technique.
The butterfly technique is used to open up a person's chakra and place energy into those places. Use this technique only after having done the Rake technique (negative energy clearing). A person may be a bit lightheaded after this technique and if you use this technique you want to make sure you ground the client once you're done with their treatment. It is the practitioner's choice to leave the chakras open or close them. It is common in practice to close the chakras after adding energy to them.
It can be beneficial to open a chakra for a client during a Reiki treatment. After you have cleared out negative attachments in the aura and opened the chakra you can place white light energy into the chakra. You may spend time in each chakra and add the Reiki symbols. If you open the chakras towards the beginning of a Reiki treatment you should leave them open during the rest of the treatment and close the chakra in the end of the session.
Every person has an energy entrance point where you will find the Reiki energy starts to flow heavily. Some common points will be on the leg, and you may notice this around the feet and ankles. If you locate the energy points on a person this is a good place to stay and set intention for the person's highest most best. The Reiki practitioner could also add the Reiki symbols to that location on the person's body.
The use of crystals during Reiki treatments is a very common practice with many Reiki practitioners. These are a few standard stones that may be incorporated into Chakra Charging treatments. The choice of crystals is completely up to the practitioner.
Root Chakra- Black Obsidian or Black Onyx
Sacral Chakra-Carnelian or Tiger Eye
Solar Plexus Chakra- Citrine or Tiger Eye
Heart Chakra- Aventurine or Rose Quartz
Throat Chakra- Angelite or Lapis Lazuli
Third Eye or Brow Chakra- Amethyst or Sodalite
Crown Chakra- Clear Quartz or Blue Kyanite
Chakra Charging with Crystals will help to align and restore balance to the client. The client's auric field will return to normal and their aura will start to radiate with a stronger color.
Pyramid clearing can be used to help focus the Reiki energy to one location and aid in reduction of physical trauma or past karmic issues that may be the underlying cause of the pain. This technique is commonly used on clients that may be dealing with cancer. Working on the source of the cancer if known and sending pyramid energy to that area can aid in the removing the effects of the disease. Spiritually, if the client is carrying karmic energy that has been completed from a past life, you can set the intention that it be removed from this life.
It can extremely beneficial to use the symbols directly over areas needing treatment. You may spend time in those areas removing blocks and placing Reiki symbols directly at that source.
