A few quick tips on what you need to know about using Udemy for getting even more out of the class.

I'm a software developer who has been to over 20 conferences, meaning I've learned a thing or two about how to make the most of them.

We're going to learn all you need to know about making the most of the IBM Events app to help you find the right sessions and network with the right people. All ahead of the actual conference.

Section 1: Housekeeping: Get the app and explore

Go to the Play Store and download the IBM Events App.

We'll review the functions available.

Add your picture and tags to make it easier for others to find and connect with you.

A great way to start your networking ahead of time, use the Activity Stream.

Section 2: Find the relevant sessions and get them on your schedule

Find sessions and get them on your schedule based on keywords of interest to you, in my case I used DOORS, CLM, RTC, DNG, RQM...

Find sessions and get them on your schedule based on speakers, once you find a good one see how you are able to see other sessions by him or her.

Find sessions and get them on your schedule based on room, typically similar tracks stay in the same room making this another effective tactic in finding relevant sessions.

After using the above tactics see if you missed anything by going through the daily highlight. Conference details also has additional information you might find of use.

Section 3: In closing

Thank you for tuning in, please leave a 4-5 star review if you enjoyed this course. If you feel it deserves a 3 or lower I would ask that you please send me a private message instead and letting me know what I can improve.

Here's a bonus lecture on navigating the InterConnect website, no longer limited by what is available through the app. Another good way to do your homework before the conference.
