Two Hands Hold Up Heaven is a warm up exercise that will invigorate the entire body. It stretches nearly every muscle in the body, awakens the mind, and is a great start to the morning.
Perform 8 sets of "Two Hands Hold Up Heaven".
This exercise will build muscles in the legs, hips, and back. It also stretches out the chest, an area where many people hold stress.
Perform 10 sets of "Drawing the Bow to Shoot the Eagle".
Core muscles are some of the most overlooked, when it comes to healthy body structure. "Separate Heaven and Earth" will build muscles in the transverse abdominis (the deep ab muscles). It also will stretch the rib cage and back.
Perform 10 sets of "Separating Heaven and Earth".
Resting exercise that will focus on strengthening the neck.
Perform 10 sets of "Wise Owl Gazes Backwards".
Experience a soft warrior form! Side to side punching that will build the hip muscles.
Perform 10 sets of "Clench the Fists and Glare Fiercely", 10 repetitions each side per set.
Although this exercise will stretch the whole body, your calves will feel this one the most! Great balance building practice.
Perform 10 sets of "Bouncing on the Toes", 10 repetitions per set.
Deepening the roots in the ground, "Sway the Head, Shake the Tail" will open your hips. This exercise will also really help with lower back strength.
Perform 10 sets of "Sway the Head and Shake the Tail", 10 repetitions each direction per set.
One of the most difficult exercises, you will stretch the hamstrings and entire upper torso. Deep stretching is best done at the end of exercise. This one does just that!
Perform 10 sets of "Two Hands Hold the Feet", 10 repetitions per set.
Chris has studied martial arts for 10 years, specializing in Kung fu, Qigoing, and meditation. He became a personal trainer in 2015 to better understand the modern advances in fitness. Most of his martial arts instruction was done in his home state of Ohio. However, Chris has also studied in New York city, and Wudang in China. He specializes in Choy li fut Kung fu, Qi gong, Meditation, and weapons such as the broadsword, bo staff, Kwan dao, and daggers.
As a young man, Chris developed a passion for building the physical and mental self. He further developed a desire to share the peace that he has found through exercise and meditation with others.
