Section 2: Fundamentals

Stephen Mackay goes into detail about his method of learning. He talks about his personal theory behind the reasoning for an 88 key piano and how that unlocks the key to making learning easy. Within this lecture he will demonstrate the importance of the numbers as they relate to discovery.


With the key to chord discovery revealed Stephen now teaches the techniques for creating chords progressions and finding different chords such as major's and minor's as well as inverted chords.

Section 3: Exercise and Close

This final lecture gives an exercise for continued practice and encourages students to find a sense of timing. Stephen teaches 3 simple chord Progressions as well as some examples of how the chords can be used as the base platform to create basic melodies.
