Module 1 – Money: Master or Servant?
When you have a good relationship with money, you have more of it in your life. As in any relationship, with money there's give-and-take. We listen. We hear. We support one another. We leave fear, intimidation, apprehension and mistrust behind. Instead, there's connection.
In this module, you deepen your relationship with money by entering that give-and-take flow. The more you get into the flow, the more money shows up—a cycle you'll want to go through again and again!

In this lecture I introduce the Money module and discuss the 4 P's
Money is a good servant, but not a good master. When you learn to balance and understand what money is for, you develop a healthy relationship with money.
In the Money: Master or Servant? audio I spoke about the 3-Step, 30-Day Program. This program is intended to contribute to your happiness, and to improve your relationship with money, and understanding of the flow of money.

Draw on your Monthly Activities Worksheet to complete entries in your planner. This worksheet gives you the big picture. It allows you to consider what, instead of when, and that lets you find time to work on important or crucial tasks. If you only utilize a planner, and only focus on the when, you could become easily bogged down in things that seem urgent but are not critical. In addition, you could neglect to make time for important things. This system ensures the important steps you need to achieve your deepest goals are met.
You can include activities for the next month, BUT be clear that they do not have priority for the current month. I assign a priority of 0 to future activities.
As you move to a new job, especially in a different field, you may think your old job has nothing in common with you new job. In fact, they have one very important thing in common. You! Your motivation, attitude, wisdom, energy, relationships, how you relate with money, and more move with you to your new job. All these areas that you have developed are valuable tools that you can take with you to each new career.

People need other people to create success, joy and fulfillment. That's why we naturally want to connect in relationships.
In this module, you'll learn how to recognize which one of five phases any relationship is in, so you can more easily nurture it or move it to the next phase, if appropriate.Mastery of relationship flow reduces stress while increasing your self-esteem. The 5 facets of Relationships
Everything is a Relationship. The first relationship begins with you. Do you know who you are?
In this lecture I'll also introduce the 5 facets of the relationship:
Most importantly give every relationship 100%! Go for it with all your heart.
Be more interested. Be less interesting!
We are all attention seekers. We love to be heard and have the opportunity to express ourselves.
I challenge you to turn around this human need and regard it from the other side. How can you take a new approach? Rather than display how interesting you are at every opportunity, introduce the power of being interest in the value of others.
There are three secret formulas for creating a relationship. These formulas are incredibly valuable; because they help you change the focus to the other person thereby increasing the power of your relationships.
The three secret formulas for creating a relationship consist of three questions:
1. Where are you from?
2. What line of work are you in?
3. What is your passion?
The secret formulas work for three reasons. First they signify a genuine interest in the other person. It's surprising how seldom this happens and how greatly it is appreciated.
Secondly, they provide you history and perspective. When you know about the other person, you have a clearer understanding of ways in which you may connect and assist each other. When they discuss their line of work, you learn about their stability, dedication to their business, the amount of time they've spent in a particular career, and if they are looking for a change.
Finally, when you prompt a person to share their passion, you ascertain what truly makes them tick. You might discover compatible interests. For example, maybe you both enjoy traveling abroad. This opens the door to creating a more meaningful relationship.
The secret formulas allow you to connect on numerous levels as you embark on the fist steps to building a relationship.
1. Pursue the relationship
Pursuing the relationship is self-explanatory. Use your three secret formulas to lay the foundation.
2. Engage in the relationship
Engaging in the relationships is when you decide the connection is worth pursuing, so you put more time into it, extending the value of the relationship.
3. Establish the relationship
Establishing the relationship is simple. When you establish it, you give it a title, such as personal intimate, personal friendship, extended family friendship, family, school, business, etc.
4. Nourish the relationship
Nourishing the relationship is extremely important. If you want it to grow, you must give it fuel.
5. End the relationship
The final phase of relationships is delicate. All relationships end. This is not in our control. Some people enter our lives as simple messengers leading us to a new path; other are with us for longer periods of time. There are some relationships that are a brief encounter.
Relationships shape our lives and provide us feedback on how we are living our lives.
Examples of How to Build Business & Personal Relationships
New Job: Learn, connect, contribute. This is your moment to shine!
Taboo: Don't force your plans and ideas in a new workplace too soon. Do your homework first, and then learn where you can best contribute.
New Career: Dream, listen and change.
Taboo: Don't look back on your life and wonder what could have been.
Meeting a Vendor for Lunch: Use the three secret formulas to build a relationship with your vendor. Always follow up.
Taboo: Don't allow yourself to be distracted by cell phone calls, texts, or emails. Give your full attention to that person.
Called for a Job Interview: Be calm, confident, and centered.
Taboo: Don't brag! Be yourself. Show your passion quietly and skillfully.
Management: A great manager learns everything about their organization from the ground up.
Taboo: Don't underestimate the power of personal connections with workers, customers, and vendors.
First Impressions: Be courteous, be focused, be you
Taboo: Don't be lazy about your appearance. Dress according to the occasion and always look clean and neat.
First impressions are of paramount importance. Take care to present yourself well. Dress according to the occasion and always look clean and neat.
Meeting your significant other's family: Be pleasant, polite and profound.
Taboo: Don't brag or talk too much about yourself—about your achievements or previous relationships
Going to dinner with new friends introduced by old friends: Listen more, talk less.
Taboo: Do not reveal secrets about your mutual friends.
Entertaining: It's a great way to connect with people and share the sanctuary of your home.
Taboo: Don't overdo it with food. More is not better; it's simply more.
Wedding Plans: Build relationships around your wedding plans. Every step should be easy and fun without landing you in the poor house!
Taboo: Don't allow yourself to get overwhelmed in planning and forget the reason for the event—love.

Steps to Building Positive Energy
In this lecture I introduce the Energy module.
Our Energy has a huge impact on our lives.
There are 5 pillars or commodities that impact our energy level. They can make us connect with people more successfully, or disconnect.
I will share one of the most important components of the Energy module, eat the foods that love you back! Learn how to build a healthy relationship with food.
We will connect again with Passion, Preparation, Portion and Priority, the 4 P's.
I will also introduce to you why I am passionate in loving Monday!
Your energy, mood, focus are directly affected by what you put into your body.
This lectures introduces the food worksheet along with other important ideas about food.
Take your time with your meals:
Passion: Love what you eat, and let it love you back.
Preparation: Take the time to shop around and prepare key ingredients that will nourish you and make you feel great. Think about color and include a mixture of colors on your plate.
Portion: Maintain reasonable portions. Walk away from the table when you are 70-80% full.
Priority: Give meals a priority in your life. Never rush through them. Don't ignore the importance of food!
Tap into your relationship food, and notice which foods love you back.
Learn to Love the First Day of the Week
Your attitude towards Monday affects your entire week. I feel enthusiastic about starting the week; it's my change to get ahead, accomplish things, and produce results. Monday introduces a fresh, new color into my world. It's a new attitude, the freedom to choose to pursue my goals for the week at work and at home.
When we choose to have a positive attitude about Monday, everything around us will begin to shit. Stress will be replaced by passion. We will have new energy and start feeling good about ourselves and our accomplishments early in the week. When we make this shift, we become better partners; more patient parents; more productive workers; and most significantly, we become stronger time managers.
On top of all that, we actually start enjoying what we do. We welcome responsibility, since we realize the opportunity to make things happen. We increase our success, make more money, and ultimately are reward by having more freedom.

The most important ingredient in this entire 360 Degrees of Success is Time.
Relationships should be nourishing to both participants. But the wrong relationship or the wrong approach to the right relationship steals your time.
Too much attention to health concerns can steal you time; especially if you focus on the ailment and not the means to restoring your health.
Trying to change your basic nature is difficult at best, and struggling against your nature is a misguided misuse of time.
In our complex world, we are often required to multitask, but multitasking taken to the extreme becomes a time thief. Oftentimes, when we try to do more we actually accomplish less. Multitasking is effective when you properly balance all of the tasks.
Efficiency expert W. Edwards Deming famously said, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.” For most tasks, perfectionism is a time thief. While it's important to do your best, it's more important to recognize when the cost of doing more; in money, time, or stress exceeds its value.
Within the time you are living you are learning, growing, understanding, applying and practicing the experiences you are going through.
