  • Day 1 – Personal Accountability5:13

Today, you want to take a moment and set yourself up for success by making a commitment to be accountable for the next 21 days. DECIDE to give yourself 45 minutes each morning to build your success habits. There is a downloadable calendar in the resources section. And also some reading ideas below

    Some reading suggestions:

    • The Five Minute Journal: A Happier You in 5 Minutes a Day - This was actually created by some of my super-talented friends!
    • Think and Grow Rich - A great book and a must read by Napoleon Hill. I don't know of one successful person who hasn't read this.
    • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change - This fits perfectly with this course theme
    • Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity - Want an edge in time management? This is the one.
    • 50 Self-Help Classics: 50 Inspirational Books to Transform Your Life from Timeless Sages to Contemporary Gurus - not sure what to read? I love the quick snippets and ideas from a myriad of perspectives.
    • Or go to my blog!
  • Day 2 – Accountability to Others2:49

So we have made a commitment to ourselves and congratulations, you are on day TWO! So far, so good. Today I want you to reach out to someone and let them know you are making this commitment. If you haven't done so already, invite someone to join you on this journey as well.

Paste your comments and share your WHY, your challenge you want to overcome, and your commitment to finish this course. Interact with the community! You never know how your words may inspire someone else to take action.

  • Day 3 – Distraction-Free Reading4:54

Welcome to day 3! I know that sometimes it's hard to focus while you are reading, right? Do you ever stop yourself and wonder why you don't remember anything you just read? Get some tips on making the most out of reading.

  • Day 4 – How to Journal Effectively4:06

To be honest, this is one area I struggle with, but at the same time I LOVE it when I do it. Sound familiar? Let me help you simplify your journaling efforts with some tips on getting more out of your written reflection time.

  • Day 5 – Effective Self-Reflection3:31

Do you find it's easier to point out other's mistakes than your own? Well, that's normal. One of the best habits you can get into is finding that five minutes (at least) a day to be with your thoughts and dig deep inside through self-reflection.

  • Day 6 – Pushing Through Lack of Motivation3:36

So you made it to day 6, eh? How are you feeling? If this is a new change of habits, probably you may be feeling like giving up or doing something else. Maybe it is a bit uncomfortable? Well let's talk about how motivation doesn't actually matter.

  • Day 7- Understanding Fears and Desires3:51
At the end of week one, let's discuss how we actually make decisions. Whether you are in a personal dilemma (big or small), trying to decide between two options, or in a conflict with someone, you have two human drivers or needs you need to satisfy - FEAR & DESIRE.

Requirements

  • Nothing is required before you start. I only ask that you plan on doing the activity each day. The program is about habits. So c'mon!!
