I initially launched the 21 Day StretchBodyMind Bootcamp in October 2013, based on some of the work I did for the live Yoga Body Bootcamp back in 2012 as well as on new work I have done in Life Coaching and NLP. Yoga & Pilates Teacher Trainer; Founder of StretchBodyMind

Hi! I'm Victoria Cunningham-Downey and I am the Founder of StretchBodyMind. I am a trained youth worker and SYT (Senior Yoga Teacher, equivalent to E-RYT) yoga teacher who is responsible for all StretchBodyMind's training programmes.

I have been practising yoga for over 25 years and teaching for almost 15: teaching Pilates since 2006 and training teachers since 2011. I am a Senior Yoga Teacher (1000+ hours) and because of my own training and practice you'll find me teaching Yoga and Pilates at all levels.

In addition to my academic qualifications (we're talking an MA Honours in English Literature and Sociology from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde) and yoga certificates I hold qualifications in community development, conflict management, facilitation skills and community drama, all of which equipped me wonderfully to create and develop both online and offline training for people who want to stretch their bodies AND their minds.

I now train people throughout Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to become Active IQ Level 3 Certified Pilates Matwork Instructors, 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teachers and Children's Yoga Teachers.

I am OBSESSED with personal development books and am even planning to write my own this year!
