Blogger and small business owner sharing the knowledge

I started a music blog in 2009 and have since set up my own freelance business.

Rather than incur the costs of employing a web developer, I decided to invest time in teaching myself the basics of wordpress using various online resources. This enabled me to build both my own wordpress sites from scratch by installing and customising standard wordpress templates to suit my own personality and business.

I've since helped other small businesses navigate their own website customisation, and hope to share the knowledge and skills garnered through my own experience with fellow bloggers and business owners.

I've included a link below to my business blog, Storyboard Music which is based on the template, Modern Portfolio Pro. I made the decision to significantly customise the look and feel of my business web presence to reflect my own style as well as include features and plugins that are relevant to my business and industry.

This will be the main focus of the courses I'll be contributing, along with some other tools I've found useful along the way.
