The course provides a very rudimentary understanding of html, css, and javascript. Topics covered are as follows: html: tables, headers, lists css: colors, borders, fonts, text manipulation javascript: variables (integers, strings, string concatenation) built-in alert() function activating js through html buttons modification of html element text through document.getElementById John is engaging and the quality of sound and visual is good. After taking the course you should have enough to build a website with the look and feel of 1999.

    Great Course!! :)

Coding was a mystery to me. Often times I would go to other courses and they would cover too much material too quickly. All of a sudden it felt like I was in a calculus class. This course however, does cover a lot of material but makes it easy to understand. Everybody has been talking about why people should learn to code, this course is a great way to start. It shows you in a clear step by step fashion on how to code. The only issue is that some of the words were a little hard to see at times. Other than that I am glad I took this course because it has made the first step of programming really easy. I want to code more now!

    What a fun little course!

I enjoyed this course, it had a lot of fun material in it. The best part is that you can actually see the results of your code in real time. I didn’t know that was possible. The instructor delivers beginner material at a reasonable pace and I felt like I learned a lot from this course. I don’t really have anything bad to say except it was a little short. I wouldn’t mind taking a longer course. The title says 1 hour in it so it does deliver on that point. All in all I enjoyed the course and learned a lot.

    Amazing 1 Hour!

Since I already know a little bit about programming, this mini-course was great fun to see how HTML, CSS, and JAVA work together to create an output. The use of JS Bin really gives life to the program languages and demonstration. I would like to have the screen much bigger as I could not really see all the typing the instructor was doing which subtracted from the course effectiveness.
