    The Body
    • The Body is the most tangible manifestation of our being.
    • It is the vehicle in which we get around in the physical world.
    • We experience everything through our nervous system.  Everything we hear, touch, taste, smell, or see travels from our sense organs through nerves into our brain.

  • Little more about the Body5:24

3 Most effective ways to deal with Stress.

    Benefits of Deep Breathing

    • Purifies and oxygenates the blood
    • Reduces stress levels and acidity levels
    • Brings body into parasympathetic nervous system which is  when the body recuperates, regenerates, and heals.
    • And Much Much More!

    How to Breath properly

    1.  Lie on your back with some support underneath your knees and maybe a rolled up towel under your neck.

    2.  Place right hand on belly and left hand on chest.

    3.  Try breathing deeply into the belly so that  the right hand is rising with the inhale first then the left.

    4.  With every inhale diaphragm moves down to pelvic bowl, on exhale it should move back up on it’s own.

    5.  As you exhale you the left hand comes down first and then the right.

    * It can also help to count 1 to 5 on both the inhale and exhale.

  • The Conscious Mind9:06

    The Conscious Mind

    • Where your attention goes
    • The part of you that reasons and thinks
    • Where short term memory is
    • The seat of Free Will/ Will Power
    • Positioned in Frontal Lobe
    • It is here that you are able to accept or reject anything that is presented to you

    Attention

    • Your Attention is your Power… your energy
    • Energy flows where attention goes.
    • Where are you leaking your power?

    Focused Attention

    • Meditation is simply focusing your attention on one point of focus.
    • When ever your mind wonders off and gets distracted.
    • You bring your attention back to that one point of focus.

    Benefits of Meditation

    • Lowers oxygen consumption.
    • Decreases respiratory rate.
    • Increases blood flow and slows the heart rate.
    • Increases exercise tolerance in heart patients.
    • Leads to a deeper level of relaxation.
    • Good for people with high blood pressure as it brings the B.P. to normal.
    • Reduces anxiety attacks by lowering the levels of blood lactate.
    • Decreases muscle tension (any pain due to tension) and headaches.
    • Builds self-confidence.
    • It increases serotonin production, which influences mood and behavior. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, obesity, insomnia and headaches.
    • Helps in chronic diseases like allergies, arthritis etc.
    • Enhances the immune system. Research has revealed that meditation increases activity of 'natural-killer cells', which kill bacteria and cancer cells.
    • Also reduces activity of viruses and emotional distress.
  • It is all in the Point Of View 7:16
  • More Tools 5:50
  • Patterns 8:36
  • Ego - Map Of Reality 8:48

Your Ego or Map of Reality is a combination of concepts, beliefs, ideas, and points of view that you use as a guide to getting around this world.  As we have new experiences and expose ourselves to new beliefs and points of view, we add and change the map to better match the reality that is actually happening out there.

Perception happens a fraction of a second after your nervous system experiences reality.  In that fraction of a second your unconscious filters are filtering and maybe even changing what you are actually seeing.

If we stay stuck in routine and never get out of our comfort zone.  Then we do not expand our consciousness and grow as a person.  We do not add to our Map.  And if we are not Growing as a person, then we are slowly shrinking and killing off our brain cells.

Your brain is like your muscles, if not used they atrophy.  So if you do not exercise your brain by experiencing knew things, you will loose it.

    • The only way to grow is to step out of the comfort Zone
    • Universal law that says “you are either growing or dying.
    • So if you are not Growing you are….
  • The Unconscious Mind6:28

    The Unconscious Mind

    • Functions in every cell of your body
    • Beats your heart, handles elimination, respiration, digestion, most of the functions in your body
    • Long Term Memory
    • Habits, patterns, REACTIONS
    • Does not have the ability to reject what is impressed upon it
    • Every thought, word or idea that your conscious mind chooses to accept gets planted in your unconscious and begins to manifest and gets carried out by this part of your mind.
    • Anything given often enough, becomes habituated and will continue to express itself without any conscious assistance.

    Imprinting on the unconscious

The different ways we imprint on our unconscious is :
    • When extremely relaxed like hypnosis: Relaxation, Fixation, Repetition
    • When Emotional impact is involved  ie: 9/11
    • These imprints can cause us to see things differently then they really are.
