  • by Uleau,

video series should be completely redone

I've driven a stick for more than 30 years and viewed this video series to see how it'd be explained to new drivers. The video and sound quality are really bad. The video lengths are far to short. The explanation of 'double clutching' completely misses the point of when and why it's needed. In addition, in the last video, the driver exhibits poor control of the car. I feel bad for new or inexperienced drivers that think they're going to learn something worthwhile from this series.

  • by Mr. Lusengeri,

The instruction was not as detailed as expected. Someone who is new to driving will hardly get anything from this course. The videos are only about 45 seconds on average. The movement of the driver's feet, (which is mportant to know), cannot be seen and therefore one must rely very heavily on the sound that the car engine is making.

It feels like you're a passenger with him!

I've ALWAYS wanted to learn how to drive shift, and this couldn't have came at a better time! Thank you so much for making this video possible, it looked like a challenge to tape. The gears are easier to remember here, and you seem like a safe stick driver! Thanks for the video!
