Tom Cassidy - Internationally Published Author, Thought Engineer, Reasonable Polymath, using algorithms to help people crack the deepest issues of their lives: self-worth, self-belief, goal-achieving, feeling good, achieving sustainable health and deeply fulfilling relationships.
Tom's mantra is: 'Feel Good. Do Stuff.'
Life's not about meditating on the top of a mountain in Nepal, feeling great, achieving enlightenment for yourself...
And it's definitely not about going through life doing things, without having awareness, being busy, achieving a lot but not being mindful of the bigger picture.
It's about both.
Feel good. Do Stuff.
Feel great about yourself, about life, the universe and everything, but do loads of things as well. Have a family, run a business, learn Italian, travel the world, change the world - Do Stuff.
I mean, why not?
Tom has combined the wisdom of hundreds of years of the study of global philosophies, human effectiveness, modern findings of behavioural science, recent breakthroughs in the understanding of brain physiology and even the results of quantum mechanics into practical systems for getting things done.
Systems based on practical algorithms of thought and of operation. Algorithms that are easy enough for most people to do just as they are, without having to change any aspect of their life. 'Reasonable Algorithms for Reasonable People.'
Here's the open source (as in free) version of the algorithms applied to eating: Reasonable Eating: The Algorithms
Tom's signal achievement is applying the concept of 'One Thing At A Time' to getting what you want out of life. He has designed a system that takes monotasking to a new level and most importantly works with a minimum of willpower.
You still need to do the work. But the willpower you need to get the results is almost certainly the lowest you've ever used for achieving anything in your life, ever.
Please feel free to connect with him on LinkedIn - here's a few comments from clients that sum him up nicely...
'After only a few minutes of listening to Tom I was hooked and realized this was not your ordinary "pump up" seminar. Tom delved into the psychology of why we do what we do when it comes to our relationship with finding/creating a career instead of spouting out only strategies/tactics. He's amassed a vast amount of unique resources to share with people that will not only get them to act, but to make people understand emotional intelligence we have and need to use more of. He's the "why" guy when it comes to people and careers.
“I attended Tom's seminar on "The Science of Career Change" in Austin, TX and enjoyed it so much that I attended a second seminar on career transition that he gave a few days later. In both talks, Tom used a scientific perspective and witty delivery to present an incredible amount of valuable and actionable information. In particular, I loved Tom's explanation of the Reticular Activating System and how to make it work in your favor to help you get what you want. Another point that stuck with me was how to use Tom's "Weighting Game" to discover your priorities in a career or other major decision.
I look forward to hearing more from Tom, and I highly recommend his work to anyone in career transition or even someone who is simply looking for positive change in his or her life.” April 23, 2012

“Tom made a terrific presentation to approximately 200 job seekers, mostly white-collar members of my organization, the Launch Pad Job Club. The curious title was "Advanced Thought Algorithms for Career Transition." Using humor and logic, he led us through a series of physics principles (e.g. the theory of relativity) and showed us how perfectly they could be applied to the job search process. He was intelligent, entertaining, and inspiring, one of the best speakers we've ever had. Can't wait to get him back.” February 28, 2012

“Tom came to speak to our Career Connections job club (in the Austin, Texas area) for the first time in January, and he was one of the most dynamic, highly energetic speakers we have ever hosted. The topic of his presentation was "Zero-Pressure Goal Setting: How to achieve your biggest goal for 2012." Coupled with a naturally inspiring, engaging style, Tom's ability to apply the principles of quantum physics to career development proved instrumental in motivating job seekers to achieve their goals. We look forward to having him speak again in April!” February 10, 2012

“Tom designed training specific to our mentors and mentees on the PEACH programme entitled 'the Science of Great Mentoring'. His approach focused on giving mentors the confidence as well as the skills and techniques to help their mentees become motivated and secure as independent learners.
This training, although delivered to a group, honed in on each participant as an individual and focused on their unique relationships with their mentees. Each person accessed the material from their own unique standpoint; a key consideration given the assortment mentoring relationships within PEACH.
Tom's approach to mentoring is supported by a breadth of educational experience and knowledge. As well as giving practical guidelines on a variety of educational methods and easily accessible cutting-edge resources, he also expanded on the limitless potential of the mentoring relationship. Reflecting upon this relationship, Tom reminded us of our capacity for greatness as individuals, and showed us how awaken this capacity in our mentees.” November 1, 2011

When you get down to it, there are two transformative experiences at the core of all my work:
- Finding meaning & purpose.
- Getting unstuck & getting what you want in life.
People receive results in either, and sometimes in both, when they use the programs and processes that I've developed, such as:
And when they use those that I've co-developed:
In addition to creating career and personal development programs, I provide organizational training to companies and personal consultations to individuals through my firm, InSync Resources. I also teach classes for the Professional Development Center at the University of Texas.
Writing is my main passion, and so far I've published 3 books and hundreds of articles about life purpose, mind mastery, goal achieving, spirituality and career. My latest book is "The Day You Find Out Why: Discover Your Purpose And Bring Who You Really Are To What You Do In Life" - published February 2014.
I also enjoy serving as a volunteer for a couple of not-for-profit professional organizations. But my coolest volunteer work is when I get to teach women's self defense alongside my husband and daughter.
My mission is to inspire others to step into their own power and potential. It’s extremely gratifying that the self-development programs and processes I've developed on my own, as well as with other experts, continue to serve people all over the world.

Welcome to Everyday Mind Mastery, the leading personal development course on Udemy and quite possibly, the whole internet.
Over 50,000 students CURRENTLY enrolled, and growing at around 150-200 students per day. Every day. Everyday :)
So, you might ask - what's the fuss all about?
Well, there are two reasons people seem to like it:
1. Students who do this course end up feeling better instantly, and start creating change in their lives instantly, just by applying the simplest of everyday algorithms in their everyday lives. (In 10 minutes you will know what I mean.)
2. Students immediately start applying the power of one thing at a time to tackle the mastery of any goal; incrementally, marginally, successively.
You want to become better at parenting? This course can help you.
You want to become a better leader? This course can help you.
You want to have a more successful business? It helps with that too.
Why? How? Really?
Yes, and it's all about making it as easy as possible, (but no easier!)
So, do you ever ask yourself, "I KNOW I could be doing more with my life, but HOW?"
Let's face it. You have a busy life with a zillion distractions... and this can lead to a loss of focus, and not getting what you want out of life.
You join the gym in January but by the end of February...
The guitar you bought is in the spare room gathering dust...
You've got a copy of 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' on your bookshelf, you know it's a great book yet you haven't opened it since 1995...
You decided to learn French, and after 3 weeks you've not got very far and so you decide that maybe Spanish would be better...and 3 years later you're still just speaking loud English whenever you go abroad...
Sound familiar? You're not alone. Most of the population is in the same boat as you. It's pretty normal. Only a tiny percentage of the people on the planet have the self-discipline of an Olympic athlete.
And I for one, am certainly not in that group. I don't have an iron will. I don't even have a tin will. My will is probably more like cardboard if I'm honest.
Therefore the standard approach to achieving your goals just doesn't really appeal to me, since the standard approach involves ME having to change.
The standard approach is basically just 'have more self-discipline', just 'get better'.
That's why I created a different approach. One that works for me, for (almost) all of us. And I didn't even have to do that much as the great Benjamin Franklin had already done most of the work. I just added a few tweaks, made it even more accessible and added a few thought algorithms to make it even easier to implement.
This approach is to use a system that gets the job done with minimum willpower, this approach involves not having to change.
So, you have two options:
2. Be yourself + Use a System
Choose easy. Choose Option 2. Make the smart choice. Take the red pill.
So, instead of increasing our willpower, let's use a system that works with a minimum amount of will. We're still going to have to do the work, it's just that we won't have to use up any of our energy forcing ourselves to do the work.
I'm not afraid of work. In fact, none of us are really afraid of work. We're afraid that we won't stick at things because that's what we've done in the past. We're afraid that if we try we might fail, and so after a while, we'd rather not try.
We're afraid we're not good enough.
We're afraid we don't have enough willpower.
We're not afraid of doing the work, we're afraid that our work won't work!
So, the big question is what's going to be easier for you?
Carrying on the same way, making resolutions, getting disappointed, giving up on yourself, starting to wonder if you're ever going to get what you want out of life?
Or using a system that gets it done with minimum willpower.
Get involved - enrol in the course and join over 50,000 students who are already finding that there just might be a better way...
Oxford Physicist, Internationally Published Author and 'Thought Engineer', Tom Cassidy, has created a system for helping people crack the deepest issues of their lives: self-worth, self-belief, goal-achieving, feeling good, achieving sustainable health and deeply fulfilling relationships.
Tom has combined the wisdom of hundreds of years of the study of global philosophies, human effectiveness, modern findings of behavioural science, recent breakthroughs in the understanding of brain physiology and even the results of quantum mechanics into a practical system for getting things done.
The system takes 'One thing at a time' to a new level: it's monotasking-on-steroids. And best of all, it requires the least willpower of anything you've ever tried. Other than sitting on the couch, of course!
It's basically the shizzle is what I'm saying...

Tom's mentor Richard Wilkins created the master algorithm for taking more action in your life - The Sausage Machine. It's an absurdly useful tool and it's real genius is its simplicity: What Are You Putting In?
Tom explains how the principles of Quantum Mechanics affect our everyday lives.
NOTE: We're not the first to visit the crossroads of "human psyche meets physics." Here's something fascinating from Wikipedia on "Synchronicity" (a term coined by Carl Jung):
Following discussions with both Albert Einstein and Wolfgang Pauli, Jung believed that there were parallels between synchronicity and aspects of relativity theory and quantum mechanics. Jung was transfixed by the idea that life was not a series of random events but rather an expression of a deeper order, which he and Pauli referred to as Unus mundus. This deeper order led to the insights that a person was both embedded in an orderly framework and was the focus of that orderly framework and that the realisation of this was more than just an intellectual exercise, but also having elements of a spiritual awakening. From the religious perspective, synchronicity shares similar characteristics of an "intervention of grace". Jung also believed that in a person's life, synchronicity served a role similar to that of dreams, with the purpose of shifting a person's egocentric conscious thinking to greater wholeness.
Tom and Angela talk about removing the cognitive dissonance that can really slow you down...

During the first week of 2012, I customized a 13x4 System for myself and have been having remarkable results using it. Increased health, wealth, order and better relationships. What a year it's been! Over a 6-month period between March and August 2012, I shared my personal observations and reported my results through this series of articles on my blog (now archived at http://beradiantsquared.com/blog). Enjoy! - Angela
This was a good refresher for me of some of the principles I have already learnt. I would highly recommend it, if for nothing more than the section on the sausage machine, I've used that analogy for marketing but works perfectly clearly here too. Good course the 13x4 is a bit lengthy but probably more valid for someone who is new to this material. Well done, recommend it.
Help me a lot
Tom and Angela have outlined here an underlying structure through simple thought algorithms whereby I can return to that quiet place inside of myself and locate an all knowing intuitive guidance that enables me once again to vision and activate my vision. I call my new power/skill/capacity Heart Sat Navigation. Thank you so much, it is exhilarating and I truly appreciate all heart and mind coherence! From completing this course I have gone on to join the Reasonable Wealth Community that makes up the Advanced Mind Mastery Course where we are involved in a 13 year scientific investigation. I highly recommend any course Tom and Angela instruct.
I like Tom and I like the way he presents. If you're looking for a different way of applying the Law of Attraction in a rational non airy-fairy way, this course is worth looking at. The greatest benefit I have from this course is Tom's catch-phrase of "What would I choose?". And the Sausage Machine.
The quantum mechanics topics were really tough to grasp but the system itself makes a great deal of sense. I enjoy the chalkboard sessions and various examples used throughput the course. I especially agree that a simple system that handles unexpected situations works well instead of a every day 30 day challenge. Like the explanation of minimal willpower and can see that it is more effective in the long run and also less stressful. The recession proof section had some great introductions and I liked the accompanying audio that went into further details. Thanks for the downloadable material especially the 13x4 example and workbook Enjoyed the Recession Proof audio and booklet. Excellent career principles that can be applied to the 13x4 system especially marketing plan and 3D CV. Plan to revisit that section. Nice reading Angela's experience as seeing real life examples clarifies the system even further. Excellent course. Would recommend it to all!
