Description

Course objectives:

  1. Ensure safety professionals are aware of applicable Codes of Ethics
  2. Present common ethical issues and challenges encountered by safety professionals
  3. Discuss potential courses of action to resolve ethical dilemmas

Course qualifies for 0.5 IH Ethics ABIH CM Points (Approval number 11-4016) and 0.5 CRBOH Registration Maintenance Points (Award # 2012-73).

Course is approximately 3 hours long and involves students working through a series of exercises involving health and safety related ethical issues.

To obtain a certificate for the course, students are required to submit the completed assignments.
