Joomla vs WordPress: Which CMS Should You Choose?

CMS,Content management systemWhile there is a large number of Content Management Systems (CMS) to choose from, few CMS platforms are more popular and more widely used than WordPress and Joomla. Some wrongly believe that Joomla and WordPress are popular simply because they are the oldest. In reality they are neither the oldest nor the pioneers of the CMS space. Family Portrait Ideas: How to Take Memorable Family Pictures

bigstock-happy-family-having-fun-outdoo-18400457

A successful family portrait will require good planning, preparation, and personality.  With a little work, you can create photos to be envied by all! Here are a few great ideas to try out when planning and executing your photo shoot:

1. Pick your location ahead of time.

The last thing you want to do after everyone is dressed up, hair styled, and in happy temperaments is to start location scouting.  Nothing will bring moods down quicker than a group of people sitting around wracking their brains for a place that looks good.  Make a list ahead of time of beautiful locations that are close to each other and easily accessible.   Go to as many of those locations as possible and shoot away.  Some obvious beautiful family photo settings are beaches, barns, fields with blooming flowers, dirt lanes bordered by autumn trees, distressed buildings (as long as it’s safe!), snowy fences, etc.   Some more subtle settings might be an old-fashioned truck, a rustic tire swing, a hammock, or a picnic table set for a family dinner.  If you are drawing a complete blank, Google “family portraits” and see what catches your attention.  Chances are you can find some sort of location like the ones you find in your favorite searches.
